The Short Track Super Series Big Block/Small Block Modifieds are at New York's Woodhull Raceway this evening for the "Hustlin' the High Banks 55," going 55 laps for $5,500 to win.  Also on the program are the Short Track Super Series 602 Crate Sportsman Cars, with a 25-lap A-Main paying $1,561 to win.  There are Thirty-three (33) Modifieds and Thirty-six (36) Sportsman Cars.  Results as follows:

BVP likely could have won that race if he hadn't had to go to the tail. He still drove it up to fourth.

Just watch the highlights on Flo. Good race between Sheppard, Bachetti and Perraggo. Even the short tracks in nY are dusty as hell. Might have helped with some water before the feature.

Just watch the highlights on Flo. Good race between Sheppard, Bachetti and Perraggo. Even the short tracks in nY are dusty as hell. Might have helped with some water before the feature.

The track conditions in NY, for the most part, are what I personally would consider below standard. Those drivers thrive on it because it's mostly what they have to race on. Dry/slick and/or dusty. Accord, Outlaw......almost too dusty to see anything. It's a tribute to their skill that they manage to put on a great show most of the time.

Best track I have been to in NY as far as track conditions as been Albany Saratoga. These places arent doing themselves any favors then they are streamed and it and you cant see the cars on turn 3 and 4.

Ransomville is a very nice track ..... smooth/no dust nice all around track...
