As of 8/22 the SLM race at Dog Hollow is still a ULMS Sanctioned race.  Facebook page says it's the biggest LateModel race of the year.  Don't they have a SLM special weekend  including a  big 60 lap race in Sept.

This ULMS deal is becoming hilarious with them canceling every single race Max cannot make it at so he still has a shot at winning the points. Then you have that idiot Sean Martin Denying it all every week.

I believe the ULMS rules state that he can miss a race or 2, as long as you complete 75 or 80% of the shows to get full point fund money.  So, I don't know where that stands, but cancelling a series race to keep the percentage up there seems to be a stretch, as you still can have other rain-outs, etc. effecting how many shows would need to be completed. I would think the tracks holding shows would not be cool with that situation, and haven't heard any rumblings on that side of things so far...

Couple of different issues here.  Who cancelled the ULMS event.....Ulms or DHS???  If it was ULMS why didn't DHS run the rest of the program?? It was a beautiful night with L'ville not running 2 classes you have, (SLM  Pro Stocks).    Here rumors about Thunder Mountain being in trouble,  but I think this track is the one that could close.  Sure hope not,  but you take advantage of a nite like this,  not cancel.  of course,  I'm a spectator and not a business man/promoter.

When I look at results for DHS and Latrobe, I don't know how they make any money with the poor back gate support they receive. I don't know what the crowds have been like for DHS, but it seems as if no matter what the program is at Latrobe, they draw a crowd, something they have in common with Marion Center.

On most nights there are 200 to 250 fans at most at dog hollow. On a few occasions if you put all the fans into one section of bleachers that section would only be about half full

We have way too many tracks in that part of western PA, and just about all of them are suffering from low car counts. I look for a couple of them not to open in 2022!!
