Chase Lambert drove a good race to hold 2nd.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

He did a nice job all night. I love watching Daryl Charlier and Chris Schneider drive. DC is one of the smoothest drivers I've ever seen. Never over drives the car.

The 22 stayed ahead of some really fine drivers last night.  114, 33c.    He didn't make that one mistake that he sometimes does.  Probably the best race he's ever run.  Speaking of mistakes , I think we gotta talk about the Flinner restarts.  I thought he had a strong car,  but just couldn't get the restart right and got moved back a spot.  one was obvious but I thought the first was a caution for a pile up coming out of 4.  He sure wasn't happy!!

Another great race by the big blocks,  man was the track good after all those laps.

Hellava job for Feder, Yetter and Lambert. The ride McFareland took was a wild one. Never seen a sprinter keep it wide open, do a wheel stand and get launched off the wall. Shocked at the amount of cars in all 4 divisions. Good night overall.

...and that was probably AJ's fault too. Slid up and pinched him into the front straight marbles.

Speaking of AJ, looks like he's on his way to being winless at Lernerville this season.

McFarland just jumped the cushion. He didn't seem to be upset with anyone when he got out of the car. That's wasn't the first misadventure he's had in turn four.
