You left to early Flash,  two great races last.  Bret McDonald won the Pro Stock race.  Finally this guy gets one!!  started inside row two I think.  Hickock broke mid race but once Bret got by Hutira he had it covered.   Clate Copeman in the Crates for his  second of the year,  over Sheilds,  Ott did not come out for feature.  The 28h came from 6th.  Didn't run away but wasn't really challenged.   Nice night of racing but they continue to mess around and make a late night of it.  There was a very nice fireworks display.  Track surface was beautiful.  Glad to see you get away from PPMS Flash!!

I still like the racing at PPMS quite a bit, and would like to have seen the Hobby Stock special last night, but I really enjoy the BRP mods which is why I went to Latrobe instead.  The only track I really go to on a weekly basis is Lernerville.  When PPMS has a show I want to see, like the Ed Laboon Memorial or the Jook George Memorial, I'm there.  But I have always traveled quite a bit on Saturday nights.  I agree that Latrobe's track surface is really spot on, but they do drag things out there, and the announcer leaves a lot to be desired, although he does a pretty good on-track interview with the winning drivers.  If I didn't walk the pits myself prior to the races, I wouldn't have any idea who most of the racers are.  That's really all I ask for in an announcer.  Tell me who's in what numbered car, where they are from is nice, and I'm a happy camper.

Looks as if Shields had a better night. Seems like he has been just a tick off all season. He has been consistent just but hasn’t been winning like he normally has.

Where did the 51 in the pure stocks come from, Benton? Howie doesn’t like to inform us where these guys are from. Pretty cool these stock car guys are showing everyone that the hometown hero is beatable in that class
