Amen.woo contract expired finally when tomsons bought the place. Lucas has been wanting it for yrs.
I've received conflicting information about their relationship with the WoO. I initially believed that the Tomson's bought the track with the understanding that they had to honor the balance of the contract remaining with them. Then I was told that the after that contract expired, the Tomson's negotiated another multi-year deal.
However, I have to agree with you in that any deal they had with the WoO's had to have expired because there is no way they could have the LOLMS sanction The Firecracker if they were still in business with the Tomson's. It makes me wonder what will happen with the Silver Cup and the Commonwealth Clash.

Losing the Silver Cup would be a big hit to Lernervilles bottom line

I believe When they bought the track they did a 5 year contract with WRG. That expired this year. That is why the steel city stampede is totally in their control this year and dirt car is not involved. When I saw that I knew WRG was on their way out. I look for WRG to run against the fire cracker now. You know they are not very happy about this taking place.I've received conflicting information about their relationship with the WoO. Was a write up on twitter that the Gm is open to adding a WoO late model date. DMM should remain WoO. I love the All Stars but two yrs in a row with no make up date is bs.

WoO will schedule against this race now, swap out the WoO regulars for the Lucas regulars and the car counts will be about the same. Curious as to what happens to the RUSH Emig race as a result.

Highly doubt nothing will happen to the rush. Everybody's acting like the whole season will change. This is just one weekend out of the schedule. It's still the same race just different sanctioning.

" swap out the WoO regulars for the Lucas regulars and the car counts will be about the same."
It would be a good thing for drivers, car owners and fans if it leads to competition for racers with tow money and start money the bargaining tools used by WoO and Lucas.
Well funded racers would as usual go where they want based on accolades and chance to win.
But over all car counts for fans will go with tow money, B and C main money, and start money.
Wouldn't it be great if B main money would be twice or more that of decent tow money?
Wouldn't it be great if Super Late counts for special shows were high enough there was no need for RUSH lates to be added whether you like them or not?
Pay out B main money the same or better then your secondary show and might you get 50+ cars for a show?
Might the B main for fans become just as good a "racing" show then the A?

Then as a fan I'm not sure if I would rather have 4 really good shows to go to at a track or 2 really great fantastic shows.
Meaning do you want to be able to go to Lernerville for both Allstar and WoO sprints and WoO and Lucas super lates verses surviving WoO sprints and Lucas Supers?
Might be ok and even better for fans to just have WoO sprints and Lucas Supers if we could go watch both at more tracks.
Wouldn't it be great if 5 or 6 different local Western PA and Eastern Ohio tracks would all get both each season?
... maybe Lernerville, Sharon, Eriez, PPMS, Stateline, Mercer, Wayne county, you fill in the rest per where you usually go
Isn't the main financial interest of all tracks to provide what fans want to see to make a profit?
Isn't the lack of doing so what demands such a heavy cost burden be carried by racers?
As I've said so many times before on here, Take care of the racers and the show, and the stands and concessions will take care of themselves.

My hope is that they add a WoO date at some other point in the season, maybe something later in the year and are able to keep their relationship ok. There are more than one track that has Lucas and WoO Sprint races. Port Royal even has both Late Model Series.

2022 schedule shaping up to be a good one with the addition of the McConnell memorial, ULMS and now Lucas. Hopefully they add WoO lates and move the all star show to summer and make it the Earl Bauman Memorial again, itll be great.

I-55 for 20,000 to win is the event scheduled to go against the Firecracker for next year for WoO along with the Summernationals. Probably ends up being a wash with no increased car count with Lucas sanctioning.

The quality of the lineup will be much better.
