Beautiful weather for the final Fab Four Racing show of 2021.  There were Twenty-four (24) 410 Sprint Cars, Eighteen (18) Super Late Models, Fourteen (14) Big Block Modifieds, and Twenty (20) Pro Stocks.  Results as follows;

Congratulations to Todd Bachman on his very first SLM win. Unfortunately, it came at the expense of a flat for Tyler Dietz with a couple of laps to go. Logan Zarin was upset with Tony Burke after a front stretch accident. It happens sometimes. But what's up with that big goon that works at the track yelling at Zarin? The guy just had his race car torn up and he was pissed. The correct move is just to try to calm the dude down and lead him away from the situation. I'm sorry, but their are some abrasive a-holes working at Lernerville, Good way to keep cars from returning.

 

Speaking of which, who the hell made the call to put Dale Charlier to the back after he and Chase Lambert got together on the first lap of the Stock feature? Chase had started to go around in turn 3, and Dale was under him with the whole field behind them. If Dale stops, he gets run over from behind. I've watched the #114 long enough to tell that he simply is not a dirty, rough or aggressive driver. Bullsh!t call that they would have never made against certain other Stock drivers. Dale damn near won anyway. I hope he comes back next year, he's a hell of a driver.

I saw it a bit differently. Yeah, Chase got a little more sideways than everyone else, but he was under control by the time Charlier sent him around. Right on. Sye could have avoided contact if he kept his head. Dale just does not drive like that. I don't know what else he was supposed to do. Chase didn't seem to be upset with him, not that that should have had a hand in the official ruling. But, anyone that saw the Penn-Ohio race a couple of weeks ago watched Dale and Chase run side by side for many laps without contact. Lernerville blew that call last night.

Disagree. Chase was likely going around. If Dale mashes the brakes, he probably gets hit from behind. The fact that Chase didn't retaliate in any way, shape or form kind of supports the assertion that Dale really had no choice. And comparing a guy that wanted an explanation for a bad call from the flagman to anything John Flinner did is way over the top. Dale seems to be a cool and calculating character behind the wheel. He drove from dead last to second, probably a little upset without touching another car. Flinner would have definitely bent up some sheet metal trying to do the same thing.

I love intelligent, factual, polite discussion on matters such as this.  I find this board is more capable of that than that damn social media.  Being sent to the tail should include some show of intent.  I don't know how any official can judge intent in this situation.  They should have left it alone,  but it is what it is.  to many knowledgable people saw it differently.  Shame really is a lot of people left before this race.  What a great night of racing !!!!   every class!!   Some might have missed it,  kind of announced it late in the interview, Cory McPherson is cutting back his racing schedule next year.  gonna miss the 7 time CHAMP.  !!  Colton Flinner commented about no time for changing a flat.  If they let him,  Bachman may not win his first.  I don't like giving laps for this.  what do others think??

On big races with big purses and additional laps, giving time for flat tires is fine.  For regular evening shows, we'd be there all night if that were the case.  I sympathize with a driver getting a flat tire, but that's just a part of racing, same as a blown engine, etc.

Glad to see you all are getting a taste of what the officials are like at this place. Amazes me that the late model feature can be a demo derby with limited calls, but the stock cars get screwed night in and night out. Always running last and the worst payout in the area for the division. I'm shocked they still get as many cars as they do.

Not sure but I heard the 1z threw his steering wheel not sure of the accuracy of this but that would warrant an official to have to get a little
crazy. Congrats to Todd Bachman and he donated his winnings to some military organization. Cant remember the name. You have to admit that was some finish to the late models.
Also congrats to the Flinner race team #48 it was a good season for them.

Yeah he did, lol. Also heaved a couple of clods of clay at his car. I get that the officials can't let things get out of hand, but this big goof came off looking like an ass hat. It's not like he had Burke in a headlock or threw punches at him. No one's safety was at risk. Plus, this bozo was yelling at a couple of guys standing at the fence who I assume were helping Clayton Kennedy. They were simply standing there trying to assess the damage. I've also heard some of their other employees saying rude, ignorant things to other drivers and crew members. The Tomson's better teach their people how to handle potentially emotional situations better. I'm not suggesting they should put up with verbal or physical abuse. But if you can't understand why someone is upset and at least attempt to resolve the situation in a more rational manner rather than acting like a hard ass, then maybe you're better suited for pro wrestling.

He and his dad are good folks. I actually felt bad for the 22 and the 114 because they both had good starting positions and the way Chase has been running, he likely had a decent shot at a win.
