I know a lot of you are probably thinking it... and ill just say it... When's enough, enough...
I know its exciting to see a track rise from the dead, but i really dont think its a good idea to be trying to stretch an already stretched sport...
When are they going to run? Friday's would be tough cuz of thunder mountain being right down the road and lernerville already having the big 3.. Saturday would be tough because you have marion center, hummingbird, hidden valley (which i know their future is up in the air), and mercer all being in the area. To my knowledge sunday is probably the BEST day.. but would have to run stuff opposite of tri-city like big blocks or crates, super/crate lates, strickly/pure stocks and 4 cyl..
Cars arent very cheap to run, tracks arent very cheap to run.. I think we should be looking at trying to keep the tracks that are already there open, instead of trying to open new ones...

Someone told me this at Lernerville during the summer, but I couldn't find any information about it.

If they are smart with their schedule, they could make it work.

I was there the last year they were open. I thought that the facility had potential. It would be nice to see them make it work.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

I heard challenger is opening backup in 2023... I mean all these cars to go around and not enough tracks anymore
I agree. I can see where a track like Sportsman's could work if they find enough holes in the local schedule. But, for all of the tracks that are relatively close together and running on the same night weekly, I don't know how they are getting by.
