Whats everyone think? No car shows. No Penn Ohio stocks. Less practices.Early opening night like it use to be.. No races Easter weekend. 2 straight fridays with no supers in May. 3 ULMS shows. 1 BRP show..2 All Star shows. Lucas firecracker 100.And an unsanctioned Commonwealth Clash. Definitely a different kind of schedule.

No Penn Ohio stock shows, but they give Emig her own night? I like that they are starting early like they used to, but this schedule has been pretty stagnant for years now.

The only thing they lack is a WoO Sprint show.
No problem Sharon has 2 and there's also Attica, Port Royal, Atomic, and Eldora.
Most every Friday is still there for their regular which IMHO is most important Fab 4 show.

Only thing that's really needed from us fans is to throw your nickel in the pot getting in on Fridays and they will do ok.

They have the facilities, yet the schedule doesn't get anyone overly excited. The lucas show will bring the fans in and I think the place will be packed. Will the woo sprints be missed ? Surely they will. Agree with skull, No penn ohio dates. Why ? Yet someone gets to push there racing. The crowd will be 50% what it usually is. There giving time to the 4 cylinders so the class grows. I've mentioned it earlier, my trips north will be to port royal this year. There giving the fans great racing and because of the purses being offered they will draw cars.
I get the excitement about landing Lucas for the Firecracker, but it isn't a marquis event for me, so I don't care. Losing the WoO sanction for the 410's is, no matter what anyone says. The racing might actually be better, but just like with the Lucas series, people pay to come and see the big names. The difference between the top 10 ASCoC teams and WoO teams is substantial. No different that people pointing out the difference with the two touring SLM series.
The lack of Penn Ohio dates escapes my comprehension. Those shows where well supported by those teams at Lernerville and they put on a good show.
The schedule is about what I expected, nearly the same as it is every year. Not really much imagination or effort to bring in something different, like an ARDC Midget show or USAC Sprints. How about a Short Track Super Series event? but, they add three ULMS SLM events that were poorly supported at some of the tracks last year.
Anyway, dirtstudent is right. Support their regular Friday night shows. They have always been the backbone of what makes the track famous. As far as this year's schedule, I'll go to the 410 shows because I love them, but the rest of the scheduled specials are meh. The Stampede is in need of a serious makeover. It pays poorly and there are still too many classes.

What exactly is a fast on dirt series? Never heard of them
They typically run out of Ohio.

ARDC isn't really a thing a anymore. They had one or two shows last year that were stand alone and drew 9 and 10 cars. They have like 4 or 5 on the books for the this year at Lincoln & Bloomsburg. Also, SSTS isn't an option unless you want locals to all buy new tires to get on American Racers.
I forgot about the AR's, so I went to Lernerville's website to see the 2022 Big Block rules. Nothing there. I wonder if they will even follow DIRTCar rules since the track no longer has an agreement with WRG.

Unless they get the BRP tour on board (they wont), thatd be a terrible move. Splitting a division thats already on life support in the area would be disastrous
