Don't know if anyone has seen this. A picture was posted of the facilities and it has been said the Miley family has sold the speedway to a developer and the plans are to flatten the place. Sad news, I realize it's been many years since the last dirt race, but that place was special. When it was converted to asphalt and had nascar sanctioning the place looked great. So did they finally lower the asking price or did a developer need a large tax write off ? If the price was lowered questions and speculation will surely start. Thanks for the memories, we called it the drome.

I heard that Latrobe Speedway bought some things from there. Scoreboard, bleachers, lighting etc.

Supposedly Jennerstown was buying the nicer aluminum bleachers.

I am shocked none of that stuff came down to your track Vince. Especially the scoreboard it doesn't even work with all the functions.

Funny I was going to post I wanted the lighting but realized the entire electrical grid would need done at PPMS to power them so it was fruitless 😄
