I didn't think it was the worst NASCAR I've ever seen. Better than a cookie cutter race like Kansas or Chicago. Getting tired of the hosts and guests being giddy about it though, like it's going to save Nascar. It was certainly better than the Pro Bowl.

What did you think of the half time show ? I had to switch channels.

never watch halftime shows! The fact that there is a halftime show in a race tells me the whole event was TV driven.

Being better than the Pro Bowl is a pretty low bar.

anything was better than million dollars ball players playing touch football.

Pathetic, and slow. Pole speed at very first race in 1949 was faster.

If I watch NASCAR, I tune in with low expectations. That way, I'm not disappointed. It was something to watch on a cold, boring February Sunday but certainly nothing to get excited about.

That racing reminded me of The Legends cars that looked like tiny old Ford coupes from the 40's. They raced on a small track { may be a small 1/5 mile } at Charlotte MOTOR Speedway. I wasn't impressed with them neither. You know it is bad if even Kyle Larson couldn't move around much.

I do, it was the Bristol dirt race last year, just for the novelty. Before that, yeah, I don't remember. Probably when I lived in Florida, because they don't have any actual racing there.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

As for the OP, please tell me you don't watch nascrap expecting racing.
They actually had to make sure Kyle Larson won the championship or have to admit that their format is pure garbage. Not that making sure Larson wins is a challenge. He kinda does that all by himself. Imagine if he would have lost the championship after being so dominant.
