Just heard that Joe Mihalic (95) and Gary Martz (78) have passed away this week.  RIP and Godspeed.

Very sad day. Rest in peace Joe and Gary. Two icons of our local racing history.

Hopefully someone can confirm this. Also heard that John Stickley may have also passed.

It's been a tough year for our racing community. In addition to those above, I read where Francis Sesco lost his life in a traffic accident a week or so ago.

That's sad. My condolences to Francis.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.
