This Big Block thing at Mercer puzzles me. 22 at Lernerville & 7 at Mercer. Most of the big guys stay home. Would they be better off just going small block?

This Big Block thing at Mercer puzzles me. 22 at Lernerville & 7 at Mercer. Most of the big guys stay home. Would they be better off just going small block?

 

I don't completely understand it myself. 5 of the 7 at MRP were at Lernerville. That means 17 weren't there. Gabany is a teammate of J.R. McGinley for Ryder yet he wasn't there and Gabany was. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If I was running Marion Center, I'd consider picking up the Big Blocks because whatever the reason(s), most of them avoid Mercer. Or maybe, schedule them on the non BRP Tour dates.

BH Mercer put new red clay on this year it was good a bit dusty smooth except where they have had the drainage problem it got rough down low in turn 3 they did a good job but that turn 3 situation needs resolved they also are putting new led lighting up it's done on turn 3 Dirt Track Digest is supposed to be  doing live video at some point he is trying but they need more big blocks apparently the economy isn't going to help Mercer much a lot of teams probably will cut back on racing multiple tracks something must have  happened between the big blocks and management last year hopefully thing get smoothed out the weather hasn't helped much for them either they lost 4 shows in a row with 2 of them being big shows I wish Edward well he is trying. Hate to see them close up I am only 10 minutes from the track I love watching 410's there.
