Carnesville, Georgia – After much thought and discussions with Hoosier and the promoter of Elkins Raceway, FASTRAK officials have decided to postpone the upcoming May 27-28, 2022, event.

In speaking with the racetrack this morning, we mutually decided it was in the best interest of our competitors to postpone this event until we knew about tire supply. Please note this event is not canceled, only postponed and once we hear about tire supply, we will set a new date.,” commented FASTRAK Founder/Owner Stan Lester.

The tire supply is affecting the entire industry and by postponing the event officials hope that it will allow their sanctioned tracks to keep running their weekly shows. As information becomes available on tire availability, an announcement will be made on the rescheduled date.

Are there other brands of tires more readily available to make running the races possible?  I realize their is a relationship with hoosier but when they cannot deliver leaders go to plan B
