First night at The Knob in 3 years. A street stock rolled over in practice. I was shocked to find out they do not have Fire or Ambulance crews on sight. It may make you feel safer that they do have an old decommissioned ambulance and fire truck. Racers beware.

Is this the track that the promoter went nutcase and did a demolition derby job on the fire company vehicle with his truck because they asked him for the $50.00 donation that he promised them but he didn't pay?

No that was at hidden valley speedway when it was called gamblers. That was around 16 years ago.

I believe the safety crews quit coming because the promoter wanted to charge them admission just like everyone else. The last time we were there, several years ago, they were even searching trailers and haulers entering the pits. Needless to say we never went back.

They posted this on their Facebook page in April. This appears to the extent of their safety. Random people on 4 wheelers with fire extinguishers. Anyone that races there is a fool with their own life.

Its Fastrak sanctioned. ULMS has a race their 6/17. Apparently they dont care about safety either.

Looking for A couple of guys with a 4 Wheelers that could help push cars when they stop on the track and carry a fire Extinguisher, Please let me know if theres anybody available for this Saturday at 5 oclock
