Thanks for the typical 5 star review Flash! Have to say in 11 years of this race its pretty remarkable we had one caution in the B main and one caution in the ELM the entire night. Speaks volumes to the track prep and the quality of all the Penn Ohio drivers. Thanks for all the support a very memorable night!

A few ELM notes:

Chris Schneider also won the fast dash, highest Lernerville car, leader of lap 11 and lap 22 bonuses, which amounted to $4,042 last night!

Christian Schneider won the $192 bonus for fast qualifier.

Steve D'Apolito was the hard charger, moving from 18th to 7th, for an extra $192

Mike Bordt won the Outsider Bonus as the highest finishing first time appearing driver. He raced his way in from the B main to a respectable 20th place finish and took home a total of $575 for his efforts!

Jamie Duncan took home the Dobs Auto Showdown Race for $517!

Almost forgot- the best appearing car, as chosen by Connor, went to Hunter Exley! He received two Mr. Magic gift detail baskets.

Total payout to the drivers: $20,203! And remember thats with NO entry fees!

Thanks to all for the support!

Great show, my only suggestion would be to take that money for the non-qualifiers and move it to the A main. The guy who won the non qualifiers only had to run 6 laps against 3 other cars to win $517. I am not sure of the payout but if he made more then 6-10 of the A main, that should not be the case. I know you do not know what the car count will be until race time, maybe you could just take the non-qualifier money and divide it amongst all the cars who do not qualify.

I did consider starting up to 32 cars. But a few points:

The NQ race could be the biggest race money some of these drivers have won. Similar to the Rush One to Remember set up, it could be their first ever win.

Only one driver can make more money than the to start of the A main.

There is a safety factor as well. Some of the cars in the NQ are a couple seconds off the speed of the top cars in the A main. That puts them at risk of being lapped every 8-9 laps. Theres no need to destroy equipment or put drivers at risk. We had one single car caution the entire A main in 30 laps. I dont want to mess with that.

Ps- we were hoping for a 6 car NQ. 5 cars actually lined up, and the 39B had to pull in during the pace lap. So I do agree with you no one really wants to see a 4 car race but it was what it was under those circumstances.
