Easiest way to help the driver and not get caught would not be factory remote adjustable traction control but to simply remote the switching between legal in the pits changing of timing.

Maybe that fast car which can run the top and then at times when it's really needed get down and pull off the bottom of the corner coming off is remotely getting some help?

Ain't it funny how a driver can hit the same marks and only really get a run when there's an opening and iit's really needed to take advantage of what the track offers?

... ain't ya just wondered about why that particular crucial lap there was a little extra there for the driver?

enjoy:

or the driver can carry the remote switch timing button on them and use as needed continually switching between around the top and dig in at the bottom

And did you hear the part at the end about doping tires?

10 grand for traction control and 100 grand budget for tire doping and delivery of doped tires.

No one racing would ever spend that kind of money just to win a race especially a local Saturday night type race.

Was the talk of Mike Marler what  got you wondering about the traction control? Some thought that could be the reason that could be the was coming off turn 2 better than everyone else on Thursday and Friday.

I don't know who Mike Marler is and I was at Raceway 7 Friday for open wheel and Sharon Saturday again to watch open wheel.

I didn't know anyone had a place to go to watch local racing Thursday, I think I proly was watching Saget open wheel on Floracing Thursday.

I did see a long recap of a Lernerville race on Floracing one night and it looked like a good race.

Most of those I know didn't go to Lernerville because of price, the hassl crowd they expected and the park in the boonies they expected.

Just kidding about knot knowing they raced on Thursday, just didn't care.

Worst part of the weekend was Tri City open wheel racing getting rained out.

Getting to watch the pro stocks at Sharon makes me say I don't think there possibly was a Late race at Lernerville that was a better race or better race to watch.

Pro Stocks are what's the happening non open wheel racing around here;

Mikey and his crew chief just know how to set up the car.  Pretty smart combo over there in that team

I think he's talking about how some drivers have learned to wait for the track to come to their setup, rather than set the car up for the end of the heat and be amazed that they fade half way through the feature, then have their fan club boo the guy who "got faster" at the end. Sounds like he's a Bowser fan, and thinks that AJ "suddenly" finding traction is by cheating, rather than patience.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

If your talking about me and what I think you are totally off base.

I look at how drivers use what there racing.
The last time I saw AJ race and he won was I think his last race at Sharon.
I my opinion his driving that race was about as perfect a use of anything I've ever seen race.
Before you jump on what you think the opinions of others are you need to tend to your own.

if you were referring to me and had half a brain you would be able to comprehend the first post of this thread was about not being able to tell if someone has traction control or not.

AJ's driving skills have gone beyond the average and his on track wisdom is noticably maturing.
I hope he gets a ride from a better than just average high dollar team.

I was, but I'm glad to have been wrong about it.
