PPMS added "Fast" and raised the purse as well. They wasn't on the schedule. So they also add "pop up" shows.

PPMS did change the date to accommodate FAST when WVMS dropped their show in July. That is correct.

However, Latrobe saw this and went from $2,000 to $3,500 to $5,000 after that time period through August.

They tried to poke the bear (again) and lost. No one is mad at them, they can waste their money as they see fit. This forum is just wondering why they continue to do it (my Dads race, Jook, twin 20s for Crates when their was a Rush touring race the same weekend, sprint shows, etc).

Not to mention some of the races to get this extra money you have to have raced there pretty much all season long. That isn't going to attract new drivers to your track. I get rewarding teams who are loyal to you but still. They have tried to do super late specials, big blocks and now sprints and none of them have worked out. Tossing big money out isn't the magic solution to get cars. As you and flash said, they keep throwing money at it whenever Pittsburgh has a big show. You have to give credit for Duritsky and Dillinger coming down for the Jook, they were the only 2 Latrobe cars that came and they both ran respectable. Frazee was in the pits but didn't have his car there because he sucks at Pittsburgh. Nobody else who runs Latrobe could have came down and sniffed the top 10 that night. In the end, Latrobe really wouldn't have hurt that night just as they didn't hurt Miley last week. Hopefully they will worry more about their own track instead of what others are doing.

Chrome Ive been saying that all year. If they would have put up the same money the week AFTER Jook, they would have had 20+ good cars. But they decided not to in an attempt to stick Vicki and Matt the middle finger. All they accomplished was hurting the drivers, the fans, and themselves financially.

Latrobe actually rained out the night of the Jook, not sure whether Duritsky and Dillinger would have come to PPMS otherwise.

Because Rush and Vicki were super cool when Latrobe opened back up offering support (super Sacrasm here). They didn't want Latrobe running Crates against PPMS on Saturdays.

Yeah that is not what happened at all. You must have been brainwashed by Howie.
