Fab Four racing returned to Lernerville Speedway this evening, with the addition of the ULMS Ken Schaltenbrand Sr. Memorial, paying $4K to win the 30-lap A-Main.  There were Thirty-two (32) Super Late Models, Sixteen (16) 410 Sprint Cars, Twelve (12) Big Block Modifieds, and Eighteen (18) Pro Stocks.  Fast qualifier for the ULMS race was Ashton Winger (Big Dog 58) @15.237 seconds, good for $100.  Results as follows:

ULMS Ken Schaltenbrand Sr. Memorial A-Main: $4K to win/30 LAPS       The race took over 35 minutes to complete, and while there was some pretty good racing

between Winger and Norris, the 10 yellows flags were a real downer.  Also not a big fan of topless

                                                                                                                    Super Late Models.

I didn't think the majority of the racing was great last night. The battle between Winger and Norris was one of the best ever, until Norris's flat. The other races were just runaways. But having said that, the battle between Winger and Norris was more than worth the price of admission. It was a slider-crossover fest, with late models, and both drivers giving the other the room to make the move and then countering.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Kenny had to make his dad's memorial race through the B, and then finished 6th.

Oh, and the incident between Garvin and Flinner. Flinners motor shut off, and Garvin couldn't avoid him.

How was the BB Mod A-Main a runaway, when Krummert only won by .702 seconds and 2nd finishing Cooter came from 9th?  And Dan Shetler winning by 1.221 seconds?  I guess we have different definitions of what runaway means.  I stick by my comments, another great night of racing at Lernerville.

Kenny drove a great race.

Thanks for clarifying the incident between Garvin and Flinner. Makes complete sense now.

There was no flat on Norris.  He lost his brakes.

Thanks for clearing it up. Sucks either way. It was a phenomenal race to that point.

I'm glad you enjoyed those races, for real. I guess when i see the top 5 or more cars all gapped I view it as a runaway. There weren't any challenges for position later in any of those races, if I remember correctly, and I may not.
