Not knocking any track just pointing out what I see.

 

Lernerville $35 to get in to watch locals plus FAST for $10000 to win and have to sit there half the time listening to RUSH spew their constant advertisement.

 

Ain't been to Wayne County yet this year but their $25 to get in to watch $15000 show to win and I'd expect to see the FAST second in points at Wayne County instead of Lernerville.

 

... What did the Fast have for FAST entries at Tri City?

maybe 4 cars at the most.

 

I think the $25 show at Wayne County will be way better then watching the $35 show at Lernerville.

If the shows were reversed I'd pay the $35 to watch it at Lernerville, but they ain't.

 

edit:  I sure was totally wrong about where I thought the cars and the show would go a week or so ago when three tracks went against each other with PPMS winning the cars and the show for fans.

The problem as I see it is that Wayne County's race was previously rained out, and they scheduled on top of Lernerville, so I wouldn't go there if it were free.  The fans lose out in a case like this, both for decreased car counts at both tracks, and that fact that most Sprint car fans would like to see both of these shows, I know I sure would.

$35 for this show is a joke. Locals, a handful of Ohio cars and maybe a couple of central Pa. teams. Lernerville might lose their ass. Now, they have RUSH intertwined with their schedule like rag weeds. Why not have a Penn Ohio race instead of crate mods?

Skull, because it would make sense. Agree with flash, why schedule on top of another track. But then again there's that word I just mentioned, go figure.

Don't get me wrong. I'll be there if the weather isn't sketchy. My take is this; $35 is cheap for a WoO Sprint show. For this race, it's over the top. That's all I'm saying. Having anything RUSH related does nothing to sweeten the pot. Hell, have the Allegheny Sprint Tour there. Those folks put on a great show.

Ditto Skull on the 305's,  better racing, but the last 2 events with the Rush sprints has been 29 and 19 cars.  that's not bad.  Promoters don't worry about race quality of a support division.  I'm kind of looking forward to the 410's at Dog Hollow Friday.  Never seen them there.  Might get 20 cars for 5K with a big race at L'ville on Sat.  $35 isn't unreasonable for the Commonwealth Clash as we have know it in the past,  but the Wayne County thing might hurt a little.  If I wasn't such a SLM freak going to Dog Hollow,  I'd pay it.  

 

Just realized it's not the RUSH sprints but the RUSH Mods.  Yuk!!!

Hans I was going to take the family to Dog Hollow on Friday until I looked at their gate fees. $28 general admission for 5k sprints and 2k late models. Now I think I'll wait till Sunday and go to Knox, kudos to them for keeping GA $15.

I hear ya 27, but youre getting a $1500 RUSH feature and a $1500 Pro stock race!! Lot of racing for 28 bucks!!!

Dog Hollow for me today and checking out my 14th different BBQ place for Brisket and Mack which includes Sharon Speedways Loaded Potatoe.

The Sharon Speedway pulled pork and loaded potatoe was great.

 

The 14th different place to try this year today on the way to Dog Hollow will be 

Avonmore PBQ 413 Indiana Ave, Avonmore, PA 15618

BEST BBQ so far IMHO our of 13 different places so far was Outlaw BBQ in Erie

They also gave me a sample of the smoked turkey and wow was it good

Worst below is .....

 

The absolute worse tasting Brisket yet, so glad they gave me ketchup for the sauce to kill it was ... 

Their Mack and cheese was ok but nothing special.

Never seen so much dirt and dust at any restaurant bbq or not and again if they didn't give me ketchup for a sauce I couldn't have eaten the brisket

Just got back from Dog Hollow. 

Left after crate late, then sprint feature at 11:30

Dang they had a lot of heat races with most having 6 cars and some 7, but I do like low car count heat races so I'm not complaining.

example:  20 sprints and 4 heat races.

 

 

Anyone traveling near this small home town bbq has got to try it.

Out of now 14 places this year this little bbq is third on my list for (NO SAUCE NEEDED) Brisket and >>>1st for Mack and Cheese.<<<<

I lucked out and they just brought a brisket in off the smoker.

First time I had pulled/shredded Brisket instead of sliced and it war GREAT.

 

If your near there or can make it a stop heading to Dog Hollow or anywhere ...  DO IT

40 cars at Lernerville. Lee Jacobs, Cole Duncan, Cale Thomas in rudzik 49x, Ryan Smith, Billy Dietrich, Skylar Gee, Aaron Reutzel to name a few. 50 at Lincoln.

Reutzel wins Lernerville over Thiel & Thomas, Lynch and Spithaler.

Brent Marks won with a last lap pass over Macri at Lincoln.

Cole Macedo won at Wayne County. They had 24 cars. Clearly the rescheduled date did not go over well.
