Great night of racing in both divisions this evening at Lernerville for the Commonwealth Clash.  There were Forty-one (41) 410 Sprint Cars and Twenty (20) RUSH Modifieds.  I know a lot of folks aren't too entralled with RUSH, but the Sportsman Modified A-Main tonight had Garrett Krummert and Ayden Cipriano running almost side by side for the final ten laps of the race, with 16-year-old Cipriano finally making the winning pass on lap 18.  Track was in excellent shape tonight.  Quick qualifer was FAST points leader, Nate Dussel (1) @13.100 seconds.  Unfortunately, Dussel jumped the 4th turn cushion in his heat race and flipped into the fence.  While he was not injured, his car was through for the night.  Results as follows:

Commonwealth Clash A-Main: $10K to win, $1K to start/35 LAPS

You're right, Flash. I've made my feelings about RUSH well known, and I won't back pedal. But that was a good race. I was also surprised at the 410 field. Lot of quality cars. My only complaint was that they screwed around way too much last night. The Tomson's must have had to sell more fish sandwiches to pay their bills.

Totally agree, the time trials were all done at 7:35, and the first heat didn't take to the track until almost 8 PM.  My other complaint, albeit minor, was the the fire department sold two different color 50/50 tickets last evening, hope that's not going to be business as usual going forward.  Having said that, I really enjoyed the racing last night, really nice field of sprint cars.

Let me guess, you had the blue tickets, too? LOL!

I actually bought both, lol, but I won't be doing that every week.
