The LOLMS 54th Annual Hillbilly 100 is taking place this evening at West Virginia's Baddest Bullring, Tyler County Speeway, with the winner taking home $30K.  Also on the racing card are the RUSH Late Models, running the Cider Jug 40 paying $4K to win.  There are Forty (40) Super Late Models and Twenty-seven (27) RUSH Late Models in the pits.  Fast Qualifier for the Hillbilly 100 is Tyler County Speedway local, Tyler Riggs (47s) @12.366 seconds, and for the RUSH Late Models, it was Brent Trimble (32) @13.711 seconds.  Results as follows:

Sure wish Garrett Smith wouldn't have got that flat.  This kid has really come a long way with Cody Mallory tuning the car.  He's closing in on some wins.

Haven't seen too much Rush racing since I moved a few years back but man does the 3J run the series or something? Running everyone to the wall on the start, jumping starts, wrecking and not even getting blended just getting the lead back. The caution came out after he was passed the broadcast made that clear. No wonders he's a 2 time champion I think they said. What's a driver got to do to get this kind of treatment? Might as well start coming out of 2 but if the driver in second starts before getting to turn 4 put him back a row. It's kind of sad to see this in a division where most guys are weekend warriors and aren't even given the chance meanwhile top events like Eldora don't let anything slide as we just saw with Bloomer and Weiss.
