Port gets it. Their last show, one third of the way through autumn and what do they do? Instead of scheduling 410's against BAPS, they have 305's, Limited Lates and FWD 4-cylinders. 3 classes, one night for everyone to go to the races one last time before winter and get home without having to sit for hours and hours while freezing their butts off.

The Steel City Stampede needs reworked. Too many classes, too much racing on that track over three days and it's too late in the year. Either cut classes or try to move it closer to the end of the regular season.

I drove up twice this year skull. I would do a Friday grove show and then head over to port royal. You better believe they get it. They run that place like a business should be run. They don't worry about how many burgers and dogs have to be sold. Efficient programs, I wanted to make the mod race this year as I watched it last year and was impressed with that too. Pickleball tournament had me committed. I used to attend the stampede, and your correct, for the time of the year they want to keep people in the place way to long. We are the minority that's for sure because there making money on that deal.
