Night #3 of Ohio Sprint Speedweek will take place at Wayne County Speedway this evening, with the headlining event being the "Duffy Smith Memorial," paying $10K to win the 35-lap A-Main.  There are Forty (40) 410 Sprint Cars in the pits.  As of 7:40 PM, the track is still being run in, as it has rained there most of the day, although the sky has cleared nicely.  Hercules Tire Fast Qualifier Award goes to Tyler Courtney (7NC) @14.407 seconds.  Results as follows:

{Although the track crew did all they could, all the rain the past few days could not be overecome.  Probably should not have raced tonight, the A-Main was shortened from 35 to 25 laps, and it was decided that tonight's race was not an Ohio Sprint Speedweek points race.}

I agree with you 100%, that the race should not have been ran! Turns one and two were so rough, front suspensions were collapsing, steering arms were broken and they were bouncing so bad, ignitions were turning off and not restarting.

Dietrich was smart by pulling out of competition after time trials and saving the car.
