And the Thursday/Friday qualifier features are 5k?    Thought they used to be $6k?

There is 2 25 lap features Thursday and Friday nights. So yes they lowered the pay to 5K for a feature but there is 2 of them each of 1st 2 nights.

Looks like mother nature is going to have an effect on things unfortunately. It's only Monday but 60% chance of storms Friday and Saturday day/night don't look good.

The uncle sam is what enticed the locals to come in my opinion. They had a shot at the main race but at least still got to race a feature saturday night. Lot of money and time is spent for this race as many teams know.

Thanks....   The Lucas Oil press release explains that much better!

I think the Uncle Sam was part of the program when it was ran by WRG.
