It's staying a racetrack. They started working on improvements already yesterday.

It's going to be a process for sure, but we have give the new folks time and understand that they bought a facility that has been milked for all its worth at this point. Everything I've heard so far has been positive and they already started working on it, which is encouraging.

100% correct. I havent met the new owners yet, but Ive been told they are younger, motivated, and excited to improve the track. They will run their primary business on the property and keep it a track as long as it makes money. Improvements have begun and others are on the way. Look for a big announcement on another event soon. Pittsburgher is not going anywhere.

That doesn't sound promising... What track makes you money these days? It's a labor of love

The place has gotten scarey. Hopefully the new owners will make the necessary repairs and be willing to ride out the negative investment. It could be the number 2 track in the area again, if done right.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.
