The World of Outlaws Late Models will be at Illinois' Fairbury Speedway this evening for the Prairie Dirt Classic, featuring a 100-lap A-Main paying $50K to win. Preliminary events were completed last night, with the 4 A-Main winners making up the first 2 rows of tonight's main event, those being Bobby Pierce (32), Chris Madden (44), Ryan Gustin (19R), and Ricky Thornton Jr. (20RT). The 2nd place finishers in last night's A-Main have also made their way into the Prairie Dirt Classic, including Dennis Erb Jr. (28), Brian Shirley (3s), Wil Herrington (19M), and Hudson O'Neal (1). Sixty-three (63) Super Late Models tooks time trials last evening.
Tonight's format will include 3 15-lap Last Chance B-Mains, with the top 2 going to the A-Main. Those races will be followed by the 25-lap Prairie Dirt Shootout, where the winner will have the choice of $3,500 or tagging the tail of the Prairie Dirt Classic. Results as follows:
