This is not meant as a bash, but what's the deal with the 358 class there? Seems like a futile effort in trying to get this class to grow. Common sense would seem to be to open it up to Big Blocks or if that purse is too high run the Crate cars.

Maybe I just still have issues with Rush, but I'd rather watch the 358s than crate mods. The only crate divisions that I like are the late models and sprints, and can't even tell you why I like the Rush sprints.

The stock division is still suffering from things that Rush introduced and drivers they chased off.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

It doesn't have to be rush as Mercer has been doing well without it. I just meant as far as car count goes. They would draw more than 8 or 10. Being opened up to Big Blocks would be ideal. At this point will be lucky if they are open again next season I suppose.
