The 1st Annual Vince Gaston Memorial took place Friday evening at Pennsylvania's Thunder Mountain Speedway, featuring a 47-lap A-Main paying $8K to win.  There were Twenty-nine (29) Super Late Models in the pits, and Fast Qualifier was Mason Zeigler (25z) @15.517 seconds.  Results as follows:

Good race but very dusty!!   Program went well for a one off.  stayed till end of semi's,   on the road home by midnight.  big crowd!  good to see.   field was good with Saterlee and Zeigler showing up,  but the car they all loved was Troutman.  thought we would see Flinner and Ferree with L'ville off.   crowd was large.  gave them good racing and that's what counts.  I'm sure there was complaints about the dust,  it was bad.  plenty of time for another special this summer.  maybe 410's???
