The guys that run Waynesfield are very helpful. Ask the guys around you for help and I am sure they will be more than willing.

are you driving your own car or for someone else? WMP is a pretty racey track this season. You'll have fun I'm sure. Someone was asking me about your truck.....how much are you asking and what all comes with it? I'll be getting out of the trucks this season also.........it's pretty bad this season as far as letting things slide. The guys that run in the class are great people.....but I know that we wouldn't have gotten away with some of the stuff that is going on now a couple of years ago. I think that the people running the track have done a fabulous job this season but I would prefer to see more pre and post race inspections. Or even put an entire truck claim rule like Lakeville and Hilltop have.....I think that would get the class back to what it was anticipated to be and still provide close racing action.

Who has that truck that ran hot laps by them selves the other night. I need to agree with OGER on the clame rule. That truck came off turn four and pulled like a V8 down the stright aways I think it could run with some of the stock cars out there. I have owned 2 chevy S-10 in my life with four cylinders and not one of them ever ran like that. Come on injunear I know you work with them guys at the plant or is it one of the people that does work for AAP????????????????????????

take your time and learn. Dont press issues. Guys that have owned their cars for some time know what to expect from their car in certain situations. Try keeping up with pack and if feels good get racey but always be looking ahead of you and not at your front end only. Best of luck and hope you learn to go fast as the front guys in no time at all.

iT'S EASY,JUST REMENBER TO PUKE OUT SIDE THE CAR & BEFOR YOU PUT YOUR BRAIN BUCKET ON .THAT WOULD BE A MESS. No REALLY THE BEST thing I can say is just hold a nice clean line. and pray they don't run you over from behind.

Ogre, I own my own stock car, it is a used car though. The truck is about 3/4 the way done with 3 motors (all ran but now in pieces to put together a hog motor). suspension was done by Carnivore Chassis. We are asking $800, 4-tires and rims go too, call me at 419-303-1708 if you want to know more. This saturday I am going to get out and hot lap the car, hopefully after all the races are over at WMP. So I will have a slight idea of what it may do on a prepped race surface. thanks for all the advice so far it will all be useful Bill Reimund #57

Hillbilly.....I am going to have a busy night at Waynesfield this saturday between racing a truck and taking as many photos as I can. I would really like to talk to you at length about your truck that you are selling. Please bring me as much info as you have and a few pics would be nice too. Even some pics on a cell phone would be nice. I am usually at the track by 5:00 pm and I hope to be there earlier than that this week. Please try to get together with me. THANX!!!

Good Luck Hillbilly!!!! I better watch out that I don't tick off a certain mod "driver" (term used loosly) with my comments about other trucks........He's pretty intimidating.

Randy was that not just one of the women out there in one of the c o welding trucks running some pratice laps? I was in Dans pits and I thought it was the truck that was to the west of Dans out there but I talked to Dan & Nick for a few min then took off for home.

I thought it was the R27 truck of Randy Crossley. Some youngsters were taking turns driving it.

It didn't occur to me b4.......

They're not running a regular show of stock cars this week at WMP. If Bill has an arrangement with the track, it's probably /possibly cool at the end of the night. It would suddenly appear to be semi-open practice at the end of the night? Could anyone elaborate?

Good Luck

I uggghhhh gree with BTI8c's comments... based on my limited (2x) experiences.

But, I'll offer what we have learned along the way.....

never ever forget to drive while looking as far ahead on the track as you can see.

ALWAYS Drive as clean and respectably..... as often as you can honestly answer to.

Always know where you are at on the track.

without exception, BE SAFE AT ALL TIMES.

Drive exactly what you have for 'em

Display sportsmanship, as yet another rule.

your competitors willl appreciate this type of style,
and more often (maybe not much), it will provide better end of the night results.

Lastly, regardless of the finish, and maybe most importantly
, ALWAYS, always,HAVE FUN!!!

if it's not fun anymore,,,.....well...

most of us know what happens next.

THIS IS ALL cherished, (FROM good RACING FRIENDS OF ours) WHO HAVE BEEN AROUND IT for a long time, and helped us immeasuarably to get started.

Just passing on Their advice! We believe it's been INCREDIBLE advice.

Good Luck, Bill....

let us know if we might be able to help you in your endeavour.

The WildWon.
