There was, for the umpteenth time a driver given the "MOVE OVER" flag, and paid no attention to it. It cost us a heat race. And It's not only us. It has cost us and other drivers features. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FLAGS. WMP needs to black flag a few drivers for disobeying the flagman, maybe it would get the idea across. Radios are supposed to be used for just that, as well as restarts and emergencies.

:P I don't agree with what your sayin. its up to the person thats driving the car to find their way around the person in front of them. if you were capable of catching that person and to put them a lap down there should have been no problem getting around him. why put it in the hands of the flagman to help pass a car when you couldnt get around him? and about the radios thats not what they were intended for. they were intended for help on lineup and cautions only. In the drivers meeting they have been telling the drivers to hold your line when you are given the lay over flag. So it sounds like the driver was doing what was told in the drivers meeting. I know exactly what heat race you are talking about, it was stock car heat race and I thought the same thing that he held the leader up but then if you go by what they want you to do he did what they wanted. It is a real shady area when it comes to the lay over flag.

Right, I'm just saying, not because he's a slower car, it was because he was given the flag, and the flag means move, you are holding up traffic!!

"the flag means move, you are holding up traffic!!" That's not what the flag means.......it means that the leaders are approaching and to hold your line. At WMP that means to hold the inside line. Now I wasn't there but if this car was on the inside of the track then that's all that was asked of him.

 Come on why don't you just ask the track to help you get around the slow cars. You cought Billy in seven laps. If you can do the math that means you were catching him 188.5 feet per lap,and then when you get to his back bumper you can't pass the slow guy. His car can't be more then 18'long pass off the corner going in, go on the high side. when will you people learn you just can't drive behind some one you must do your job & pass the person in front of you not ask the flagman to do your job for you. But I guess if your driver can't pass a car that is only 18' long after making up 188.5 per maybe you do need help.

I agree with you Brad most drivers would just as soon have them forget the move over flag when you are coming up on a lapped car you can see were he is runnin let him keep his line you work to get around him. Sometimes you give him the flag they try to get over and it might hurt you.

not that my opinion counts but i agree with the blue/yellow flag and its meaning: HOLD your line leaders are approaching. That does not mean the inside line it doesnt mean the outside line it doesnt mean stop either. it means just what it says, slow down and runa clean straight line in the same line you have been running. It just gives the leaders a little extra assurance of cleanly passing the slower car so to not take the leader out. If the leader doesnt do his job or anyone back for that matter and slides into the slower car then its the fault of the person doing the passing as long as the slower car holds his end of the deal. personal opinion the flag has its place and most of the time its right there on the flag stand wadded up. I am not much of a fan of the flag.

nothing worse than a rookie thats sees the flag and jumps over in front of you. where as a veteran would hold his line.

 Hay Dazzler long time no see. Thought I would reply back to you and say HI. And I agree on what you said about the flag leave it rolled up and I'll get buy them on my terms I think there better off not knowing your there untill your beside them and most of the time they move out of the way for every one else that fallows. I just don't think it needs to be put in the hands of the flagman to get you past the slower cars, if your fast enough to catch the back of the field get under them & keep on trucking. Hay Skip not to beat you down because you have to many friends on here but that rookie held a nice line. should of been no problem getting around Billy. Frist time on the track he probley never pushed the gas all the way. Sorry Billy you can hit me when you see me next I know it would have to be in the pits because you wasent going fast enough to hit any one on the track!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
