Yenser, Smith, Henry, and Hicks take wins Saturday, Hicks and Henry Wrap up Championships. This past Saturday was a mix of several emotions. With Mike Hicks and Jon Henry earning the 2007 Track Championships there was elation. But with Mini-Sprint driver Hank Zimpfer needing Life Flight, those feelings were kept in check thinking of our friend and how he is doing. Any information that we at Waynesfield Motorsports Park hear about Hank we will pass it along as soon as we can. Taking feature wins on this Saturday evening were Josh Yenser in the family owned Mini-Sprint, Corey Smith also in the family owned car closing the points gap between he and his brother. In the Modifieds Jon Henry driving for his father Jim clinched his 2007 Track Champioship as well as Mike Hicks in the Trucks who had clinched his track championship with last weeks victory. I don't understand how you can not see the guy on the POLE get spun out by corey smith. Totally blow's me away.... If people at waynesfield want to start a demoliton derby instead of racing, i will trailer my 65 imperial on over. I don't know if the smith's are giving out "under the table favors" but i think something need's to change, else certain people will take it into their own hands to change it.
