As I said before the two-seat sprint car will be at Waynesfield this Saturday and we will be raffling off two rides in the car. In the past we have split all money with Jack who provides the car and the good time. The money that the track gets from that will be given to Hank Zimpfer's family to help pay for any medical expenses. Any additional donations will also be given to the family and can be given to a track official that same evening.

Our driver will be giving what ever she may win On Sat. back to help her fellow driver Hank out. Maybe some others may follow as we all try to help a loyal driver to the sport in a time of need.

I wonder how the WMP management would feel about the Mini drivers going through the stands and pits with their helmets taking up a collection for Hank and his family?......or if the drivers would be willing to do it?

ive heard the bug has already been put in their ear. all they have to do is some one bring it up at the drivers meeting and ask if they can do it. not only the stands but the pits. i would have to say the main thing is if the rain will stop enought so they can get the last race in.

I talked to B-rad Monday on us mini guys going in the stands and passing around our helmets and he thought that would be a great idea so i do believe that is in the works. I have seen this done in the past and it can really help out Hank and his family

Could someone please mention to Hank's family about getting in contact with the folks from the Dayton Auto Race Fan club...(DARF)...The club has a injured drivers fund also.

When the DARF group first came to Waynesfield this year, they gave me an addy to send them the winners photos each week. I will send them an email and ask if they can make a donation to Hank.

I got a reply from DARF today. They are aware of Hank's injuries and the club will address his situation next Tuesday during their board meeting.
