Well their is a new rookie driver this year at tri-city speedway his name is russell king he is a second generation driver, from his father rex king Sr. Russell went down too the florda national races he did very well and almost making it into the feature but wrecked in the b-main trying to pass a 5th place car, he hurt the front end a little bit but he was racing again the next night.

well the bottom line is this whole season has seen alot of people driving like a bunch of little friggin kids and its gotten old fast regardless nothing againstrussel i personally like the kid and i think he is great for the sport as a whole for that matter all of the younger drivers have done nothing but improve competition and give some of these older "more experienced" drivers a run for thier money and i think pretty soon drivers like jeremy paup and russel king are going to be dominating modified racing across the board

I would have to argue that although not a rookie Steve Toth's performance at the little guy nationals should of turned some heads to thinking that he will be a force to with next year. Not only a fine showing at the LGN but the whole year was a showing of veteran driving in a YOUNG GUN!!!
