Sundays would be the smartest thing Waynesfield could do. As long as it’s UMP we’ll be there every Sunday! I feel the car count and fan base would surprise a lot of people. Last year Moler Raceway Park rescheduled all their Friday rain outs for Sunday. We attended all five of them and the stands and pits were always full. Racers will drive the distances to race and by racing on Sunday theirs no competition. Something needs to change at Waynesfield Motor Sports Park and hopefully Mr. Cornes could get the job done.
Best of luck to all in 2008,
Team JHR

Are you planning on starting earlier? That many divisions could make for a late evening and dont they have a "city agreement or curfew"? Non-Wing, Lates, Mods, Stocks on same card weekly would be sweet deal. I'd honestly have to say i'd probably quit going to oakshade as much cause with the track prep waynesfeild had last year its a sight to see. If your going to run saturdays with lates you might want to advertise and get to some area tracks and walk thr pits handing out flyers. the track location is perfect to draw from many area's but lots of tracks run sat. Sunday events be hard with kokomo racing that night. I think a few attica lates would make trek to waynesfeild as well as some oakshade regs. lakeville/mansfeild area cars and even a few Indiana cars. I will attend that first event as long as ALMS isnt running that night. Good luck jCIJ and hope it works out for ya.

Thanks Jim! Saturdays will be business as usual. The "TBA" Events are all Sundays! Got 10,000 flyers ordered..... tri-fold, like Carl Short uses! We've got 60 days to put the first DLM show on, and we intend to use every one of them!
I'll expect to see you May 18th! LOL! LM's on Waynesfield? Well, you know the rest.....

as the only track close runnin on sundays, and with 5 classes tryin to run, i hope an early start time is considered. also, where is everyone going to pit. it got very tight last year for a number of the regular shows. put your normal teams in and add in the ones that will come because its the only track runnin and i see a big problem with finding a place to put everyone. $75 dollars to start a modified feature is a little low. take some off the top and spread it through the field. fuel prices are brutal and the tracks and promotors want to make money, but you gotta help the people puttin on the show.
What does limaland pay to start? Just seen on their schedule they are paying 100 and 125 but for those races they are paying at least 1500 to win. I would imagine that limaland doesnt pay more than 75 for a regular show.

lima pays 100 to start and has been for the last three years. a normal show at waynesfield last year payed 80 to start. 100 to start is pretty much common practice anymore.

ah, the way it appears on the schedule it was posted as though the 100 start was not the norm
