Well for one it would be nice to see the darn stock cars get inspected. That would be a good start.

I'm going to guess it is a money funnel somehow - either from hoosier, or gm crate engines. Wont be good for the little guy either way.

well i got a lil more info about edora taling about runing a more i guess what u wud say a pureform of stock car as in the fact that alot of cars at limaland have a modified chasis underneath with sheet paneling as the body but eldora wants the stocks to be pure looking...so all the stocks that run wud hae to have an actual body...idk if this all talk or if its what they are going to do....but garunteed if eldora goes to it more than likely limaland might so the stocks at limaland wud only be able to run at limaland if limas rules dont change....now think bout all the stock car drivers that wud basically hve to start over with a new body?......we will see i hope it doesnt happen but time will tell....someone said something about the waynesfield trucks wud take place of stock cars at limaland anyone hear the same?

What is funny about his "so called rule" is that he only refers to LIMALAND stock cars. Dont mean to bust your bubble, but take a look at your Eldora stocks. They are built the same way. Alot of the same chassis builders are at both race tracks. Why dont you go back and do some more homework and research before you start pointing fingers. Plus there not going to make stock cars start running oem bodies due to the fact they are getting harder and harder to find. For example look at the way Dirkson's (sorry if I mispelled your last name) car hikes up like a modified. It would make if very interesting and more affordable for the "little guy" to go to something like the crate engines. First is first though, ELDORA HAS TO GET AN INSPECTION TEAM before they make anykind of rule changes. As of right now they dont even look at them, as long as you make weight when you cross the scales. That only goes for all but a few favorites. Hey let them do what they want.

for the dumbasses that dont know how to read!!!! over half the cars at limland u can not put an original body on their chasis .....number 2 if u cant put an original body on the chasis then u can not race which mean the driver wud have to basically scrap the chasis that dont have clips on them (for the original bodys)...which means finding a whole new car!!!!so therefore if limaland follows eldora (if eldora does make that change) then with the exception of a few cars all the stock cars wud be illegal ....go do ur guys homework and then get back....no ones pointing fingers but what alot of people dont realize is theres gonna be a big mess if that happens....and i understand the point that they are getting harder and harder to find but if eldora goes to that ....what are u gonna do....what everyone else wud do...go try to find one !!!!!!! lol

Is anyone getting any information from anyone "official" or are these just assumptions?? Eldora talked about crate motors a couple years ago but I haven't heard anything this year. I like that Lima has an inspection "team", your right Eldora could definately improve in that area. Eldora has a go/no go light on the scale so that the fans can see and I have heard them announce disqualifications for weight. I wish Lima had something the fans could see. You have to try to get in behind the official to see the weight and hope that when he says it's good, it is. I would say if you are going to put a car together for next year, you should talk to someone at each track (Fricke/Boos) to find out what they are planning and/or/if there will be changes. They all have email addresses. Don't take peoples word for it.....

Even the car builders don't make the rules or rule changes. Talk to the people that do that. There are rumors that fly EVERY YEAR at this time and a lot of the time what has been said never happenss. Eldora and Limaland both have mail contacts on their websites, talk to them (I've used them and have always gotten a response). I do wish that if they were going to make changes though, they would do it as soon as the season ends and get them posted for those who are building new cars.

I think they should be crate motors with spec carbs & run ump rules sure would save alot of throwing money hand over fist at your motor every year to keep up with the joneses.
