I hope cardboard Ron does show up. As for you Highwayman, the season was over weeks ago, The banquet is to award people for the complete season and ron was there for most of the season. This is nothing but a power play from some one. He has served more time for this than from some who have been into fights at the track. Enought said i would have to say than more than enought has been said.

yes skip it has, the thing that is a bunch of bull is he doesn't get attend the nra banquet and that has nothing to do with the lima deal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been just reading this on here for a while when they suspended Ron how long was it for, and i know it was just a shove but i am sure everybody on here know's sometimes you shove the wrong guy it can turn into a donnybrook, if he was kicked out for rest of year at most tracks that means all Limaland festivities for year which would mean banquet to, i don't know much about what happened but i have been to alot of tracks over the years maybe not as many as skip, maybe sprinter75 can enlighten us how long this penalty was for, in saying this though Ron has done alot for sprint car racing in this area i enjoyed watching some of my friends drive his cars, and i hope he does come back WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES!

I think you are all forgetting some thing, the collage nor the nra was the one doing the yelling at eldora that put the team on probation , it was ron and jr. the collage nor the nra shoved some one at the race track it was ron himself. you have to be responable for your own actions and accept the punishment that goes along with it. what ever it may be. enough said........

People that can't separate their position from a personal vendetta should not be allowed to make OR enforce rules, but that is what you have. Maybe next year someone else will have the target on their back. I heard Ron is going racing Late Models with Babcock ??

i'm not saying ron should get special treatment just EQUAL treatment, this year alone there was two seperate shouting and cussing incidents at lawrenceburg, and eldora with two different teams at nra races and NOTHING was done, no probation, no suspentions. a shoving match at the scales at lima between two teams, NOTHING done. shirts ripped off of teams last year during a fight in the pits between two teams, NOTHING again. JUST BE FAIR AND CONSISTENT LIMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh the shame of it all , just because Ron called fricke a couple of names at eldora, Maybe the truth hurts to much for fricke. Ive heard that this is where the probation started There are to many people working on the inside who are not happy with Mr Fricke. He is the thorn in limas side. Maybe they are suspending the wrong person, maybe Mr Fricke should be put on probation. That or how about a couple of yrs vacation.

Yea I agree he needs to take some time off, like a few decades! Fricke IS the THORN in Lima's side (Well Put). I wanna throw up everytime I see him walkin around those pits with his wad of chew shoved in his mouth and that HUGE CHIP on his shoulder Can you say "POWER KICK" I mean who really likes him anyway? You all spend more time Kissin his --- just to stay off his ---- list! I just can't believe that a man like Dr. Jarvis (major public figure with the college and the city of Lima) would let a twirp like Fricke make him look bad It IS time for him to go! That track needs a REAL Promoter that will PROMOTE NEW THINGS THERE, and TREAT THE DRIVERS and OWNERS (All of them) with RESPECT and Treat them ALL EQUALLY!!! Way too much favortism there with Fricke! Heck , look at the schedules from the last 9/10 years, pretty much the same, with a few exceptions, like most of the variety is now gone, like USAC. Guess what , that is my opinion and I could care less if you like it or NOT, it is the TRUTH!

I can't believe Ron is not allowed to attend the banquet !!! This is Luke Hall's Mom Tommie Hall What are the reasons he's not allowed to go ? I think that is pretty stupid not to let Ron go !!! So sorry Ron , that you won't be able to attend the banquet. I know I've read all the post on here but Ron should be able to go to the banqet.

You should know Tommie what kind of a guy ron is he let Luke drive one of his cars one night. I could see a suspension for the rest of the racing season, but to keep him from the banquet it doesnt fit the crime. Ron was the biggest reason for Stewart being a champion this yr by giving him the car to drive. The banquet is a celebration of the yrs champions and as far as i can say Ron deserves to be there. This is nothing more than a power play by some, and all its doing is making them look like the bad guy instead of Ron. I think the fans enjoyed seeing Blaney mixing it up with the locals , maybe some were not to happy when they got beat, but for the fans i would have to say thanks Ron for putting him in the seat of one of your cars.

hopefully the people that DO run this show observe this thread and what people think! look at what you lose over b.s. that happens day in and day out....you let pushing at scales(you know what l'm talking about) and so much more to people that do not bring you what ron has.....sleep well

Ron i think there is more than one person being a bone head here. Some times those who make the rules dont dish them out to all in the same way. From what has been said on here there have been a lot a other things that have happened and some were over looked. Racing is a sport that can have some heated tempers some can be small and some can be harsh. When some one points their finger at you and says you are cheating i cant blame one for walking around with a big chip on your shoulder. You were proably walking around like a big time bomb waiting to go off on some one. You made a mistake and you know it and you have said it. But the higher ups wont say that the penalty is to harsh.

WELL SAID!!!!! I believe that Hammon's and the whole 6 crew have been a target all year! Other drivers wanting Ron's motors tore down, then not wanting to pay for it. All this BS about Ron making a mistake, well first of all, nobody is perfect and I believe that that a whole he-- of alot of other people made mistakes at Lima too!!! But nothing was done to any of them, seems to me there is alot of jealous people.. I am glad to see that JR finished the year out(even though Ron wasn't able to be there).
Ron, JR, and the whole Hammon's team, each and everyone of you should STAND TALL and be PROUD of what you have accomplished as a TEAM!! Glad to see that you didn't let all the BS get in the way of your racing!! GREAT JOB HAMMON'S and CREW!!!! Hope to see you all back next year, looking forward to 3 in a row!!!!
