Let me start by saying I have nothing against Ron . My coments are reguarding what happened and the punishment.
7 years ago we got banned from lima for the rest of the year which was about 4 weeks old so basicly almost the whole year. At first we were mad but it made a better team out of us. If the ban was for the rest of the year the Banquet is part of the year. If its an NRA thing if Im not mistaken the Limaland Banquet and NRA are together.
The biggest thing I see here is the people on here are always complaning about how Limaland favors some drivers and teams, but from what I'm seeing thats what most on here wants Limaland to do and stop the ban for the Banquet. Its too bad that Ron isn't allowed to go to the Banquet but if they banned him for the rest of the year thats the way it goes.
By reading Rons post he Knows he screwed up and is over it. The old saying is if you do the crime you do the time and the Banquet is part of the time.
And no I don't have my nose up someones rear. We did our time also and like racing at Lima just don't like Limalands favorites calls.
A guy I know who has raced for over 30 years told just this year that every track he goes to he expects to get screwed and if it doesn't happen thats a good night
Not here to argue just my Opinion.

This is nothing more than a on going soap opera and Fricke is the producer. When a show is not getting good results its time to pull the plug on some thing.
Never mind were all barking up a tree with never ending results we go thru this every yr and nothing ever seems to happen.

Yah thats why you have a world class facility with half full stands on Friday night....NO VARIETY, wow they have 1 WoO Sprint show, 1 late model show(which last ran in 2007, because they do not reschedule events) (another mistake) and 1 allstar race. With the right promoter/ manager they could easily run 4 classes each week and still be done by 10:30 p.m. and the fans would feel like they are getting their moneys worth. AND if they hauled in some NEW CLAY that would hold some moisture, the fans would come back, knowing they won't be picking dust out of their ears until the next race. JMO #44Posted 13 October 2009 - 06:18 AM I believe that Gene has already started bringing in some CLAY!!!! He has been down there working hard, if anyone gets a chance stop by the track and take a look at all he is doing(not to sure what days he is there.) Limaland definately needs a new Promoter/Manager, need to re-do the schedule for next year and bring more of a variety.... I believe this would fill the stands at Limaland... Hopefully Jarvis reads all these posts and finally takes a look at WHAT or should I say WHO the real problems is. P.S. Maybe we all should start sending all our COMPLAINTS and IDEAS to Jarvis's e-mail!!!! Haha And again, JMO!!!!!! #45Posted 13 October 2009 - 06:38 AM
Didnt they one yr pass out a flyer asking what people wanted and to make some suggestions. i think it was a couple of yrs ago that they did it. Some one will have to fill me in on it i never saw one but heard that they did do it. i wouldnt mind to see a couple of non wing shows and run it on the night before WRP does, I think it would be a pretty good draw. It wouldnt have to be a usac show.
