i think you might be wrong highway man??? i heard that craig is not helping jr next season ,i was told from someone at the waynesfield banquet that jr was not even there to accept anything, heard ron was there to accept the trophy and money instead, makes me wonder if jr will be back or even if ron will be back???,heard that ron wouldn't even talk when asked to thank any sponsors or give plans out for 2010,seems kinda odd,oh well time will tell,

Don't look too much into JR not being at the Waynesfield Banquet. The way I understand it, JR went on a family vacation that was scheduled prior to the banquet, hence his absence. As far as Ron not speaking at the banquet, he was under the weather and asked prior to festivities getting underway to not speak.

Has anyone heard if Brecht found a ride yet ? Hey Skip do you remember Bob Wilkerson ? He sat in front of us at the midget races Saturday in Ft Wayne. Seems like he would have been a lot of fun to race with back in the 60's and 70's ,he seemed to be having a good time watchin his grandson race.

Do you mean Butch wilkerson? if so i remember him he was a regular at lima on friday nights back in the day. One heck of a racer. He also ran usac back in the days of no roll cages. I was wondering about Brecht to Some one said on another site he could be in line for the 7k ride along with a bunch of other drivers. but it was just some comment. I hope he finds a ride.

I heard this weekend that Brecht had someone offered him a good deal with a lot of money to run modifieds. They are looking for him to run for limaland points and other local shows. Hard to believe he would be back in one of them but being a long time mod fan I can't wait. Good luck and watch out all
