Cummon Doc,
we knew what he meant. I will say that even I noticed college was spelled wrong and I'm lucky to spell my own name right. LOL But please...I hate to see somebody get picked on because of spelling. Everyone knows that I never liked being resposible for writing the results/news story about Waynesfield each week. A big reason I didn't want that job was because of my poor spelling and my slow 1 finger typing method. I have read thousands of racing news stories and seen more races than most people in the last 30+ years so knowing what I wanted to send out was never a problem. It was just a time thing and feeling stupid whenever people would point out my spelling errors. I don't need any help feeling or looking stupid, I do a find job of that all by myself!!! LOL

This was the case last night with a few of their drivers. the 2 stock car of Gladman aimed for BOTH of the Zuppardos rear quarter panels and spun both Tony and Pete out.
The UNOH cars seem to be involved in a lot of yellows.

Zuppardos dont need any help they tend to do that on their own to each other . These kids only have 4 races under their belts, there are some out their been racing for yrs getting into others. Edited by blackflagmanwhaa, 29 May 2010 - 02:05 PM. #9Posted 29 May 2010 - 03:50 PM
So your saying that if you only have 4 races under your belt it is ok to spin someone on purpose, just askin? And as for 4 races or 204 races, run a straight line. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they have the oppurtunity that no one else has, they can go out and practice on the track all week. I know one thing I don't like seeing them on the track cause they are going to tear someones equipment up. Just Sayin! #10Posted 30 May 2010 - 04:51 AM
First people were crying because it was unfair that the kids could practice when ever they want to. Now its the other way around people want them to practice. Every one has to start some where it was bad that some one has to dig into their pocket to fix their car and some dont. But every racer has paided the price of repairs when it wasnt their fault. Did Darren Long run up over Ron Blairs tire on purpose crashing himself into the fence? You have a very talented x-sprintcar driver looking over these fellows and i bet he has talked to him about it. There are some guys who have been driving for years and pulled the same stunt. No its not right to spin some one out no way. #11Posted 30 May 2010 - 01:32 PM
People are not saying that its fair that they get to go out and use to the track to practice whenever, but what people are trying to say is this: If the college student drivers have the track available to them and are allowed to practice then why not learn how to race right???? Not saying its fair they get to and its actually complete bull that they get to but if they are gonna practice then they should learn how to race. plain and simple #14Posted 31 May 2010 - 09:48 PM
I think it's funny that everyone thinks the college drivers get to go "practice" their driving skills whenever they want. I live near the track and I dont see them out there practicing. I'm not getting dust from there through the week, I think everyone should drive out to Limaland a few times every day so they can see what's going on.... It's not practicing...Unless the school has them practicing in the grader and the tractor... And if they are... I say keep it up, the track has been awesome!!! hahaha

I can personally say that the UNOH drivers get their tryouts and that is only 6 laps on an unprepped track for the most part. They have had the mods out in the past after the season to prepare for Eldora. The students do not practice at all during the week. Lets see UNOH pull all their money out of the track and see what everybody is complaining about then. I have seen drivers with years on the rookies UNOH has make much dumber and more flagrant hits. Its racing did anybody think maybe the car wasnt handling right or the other car perhaps went toward them to I mean I know it was the students fault or was it perhaps a racing thing crazy idea i know but maybe it was a racing thing. I remember a student getting taken out intentionally going down the backstretch a couple years ago the driver that cranked the wheel to the right to keep him on the wall ended on his lid and the student on top, prolly the students fault to though. Who cares racing is racing wrecks happen get over it and enjoy the track or dont go, it is a Choice to go.

Personally, I think what the college does for the kids by putting out teams is a great deal....it gives kids who otherwise may not have gotten the chance to do so. I'm torn on the "practice" deal though. Guys like the #1 need no practice....he's good for sure. The #2 needs all the practice he can get, or get parked. I'm sure there's a ton of pressure to perform, but when your "full ride" crashes someone else's stuff when they are leading the race and lapping you, you should be put on some kind of probation, and worked with to either ease up on the gas pedal, or become a mud scraper tech. There have never been too many real problems with the drivers though, with exception of this one. He will get it worked out I am sure, or replaced. Hell, I might even re-enroll in college just to get a shot at a decent ride.

By any chance wouldnt that be the same guy that last week on the final turn hit the unoh student in the tail coming out of 4? Maybe the student backed off or maybe. #20Posted 02 June 2010 - 09:31 PM
Maybe the student backed off??? Go ask the guy who was behind him who had to check up and the 3rd place car had to check up to and ended up spinning out http://limaland.com/...99&gallerynum=0 hmmm 4th turn last lap 7b not even close to the left rear Edited by Walker3512, 02 June 2010 - 09:39 PM.
