glad ur doing better mike, it was a freak racing accident and my comments wasnt made towards anyone, they were made because thats how i see most of the wrecks in the truck class, if u guys havent notice the truck class is shrinking and thats not good because im 1 of ur biggest fans and i think right now the trucks are heart beat of wrp.. i appoligize if i offened anyone, that was not my intenstions.. it just seems like there are few people that race trucks and they think they are the superstars of wrp.. (not the hicks or jacobs ) i sat in the stands 2 weeks ago for the truck feature and heard these superstars yelling to have chris hicks tore down after he won and chris yelled back at them to tear him down lol this is all i got to say on here because it can be looked at in several diff ways, so on that note if i have more to say i will just come say it to who ever i think i need to say it too.... im glad that mike is in the mood to talk on here and if it was me i wouldnt wanna put up with racestud gossip. so my family wishes the hicks family all the best in ur recovery... u guys need to get the ranger x a win before he deploys ...he is gettin better each week

MOA......yea I took this statement from you: "looks like to me u guys need to learn to pass lapped traffic lmao " as being all truck drivers that would include Mike as being the wrong time to post something like that. I apologize if I took it the wrong way. Mike is a damn good driver and person and I just didn't want this accident to be lableled as him "needing to learn to lap trucks".
At any rate, sounds like Mike has a long road to recovery but his spirits are great as they should be. He's able to talk to everyone about it and still has his wife and family at home with him. Mike will be back.
We have an exciting show on tap for this weekend again and it appears that the weather will be super.
I must also say that I'm proud to have been a part of the truck class and raced with most of you.....you guys and gals are a bunch of class people! I've raced karts, SCCA Formula cars, Stocks, Trucks and even ran demo derbies and never been around as good of people as you all. Now that I've been out of it for a few years I have a new outlook on racing.
I too was caught up at one time in the thing that Matt, Chris and Mike have been through. When you have found the right combination and start winning it turns into a not so fun situation. Once that happens it's hard to stay interested and enjoy the sport. If a guy or girl is winning alot then the rest need to figure out a way to beat them and simply be happy for them. Winning doesn't last forever. Let's keep it fun for everyone. I've noticed that there are several trucks that are running really good: the 26, 18n, 1x, 71, 25g, 1w, X and 33 could win on any given night. Then you have another group that is also fast and is ready to pounce: MT1, 37, 89, 17, 10B, and 43 that is running really well in the pooints and could also win. I just want this class to remain a 20 car field every week. There are plenty of trucks out there and we just need them all to show up.
Most imnportant thing is something that my friend Matt Twining says: "It's all about having fun". Enjoy racing to those that still are able to. Even if you can't afford to race on a given night then it's still ok to come watch in the stands.
