.30 mile around the top. I believe Tim cole was the one who used a tool with google maps to measure several tracks. Its posted on pitgate.com in the forums if you care to dig through it.

Gerry, Please update all information regarding WRP as being a 19/64 mile. Kinda has a nice ring to it. Oh the winter can't get over soon enough. Jeremy

Yes and the track isn't even in the city limits so how can they call it Waynesfield???? I smell a conspiracy. Wishing I was throwing dirt instead of snow for sure

Nonwing racing > winged racing all day and anyday!! winged racing is nothing but follow the leader. I would rather watch some real drivers that actually need throttle control and finesse to be fast not just stomp on it and have the wing do all the work.

Spoken like someone who has never driven either one. Not like I have a lot of laps in either, but my personal favorite of all the stuff I've gotten laps in is wingless sprints.

Thats why usac is having trouble plus they have a hard time with getting a full field at a lot of their races in california , now their going to try it in washington state. why?????? The wingless sprint bandit series folded in 2010.Why???? Waynesfield wont survive on the classes they have . Wake up people. They tried this same shit before.

If you want winged sprints, theres Attica, Limaland, Skyline, Fremont, KC, and occasionally Eldora. It would be hard to pull from those tracks. As for 360s, not many showed up last year, so i believe thats why they werent scheduled. I do believe that they should have had a few NRA/SOD races though. Non-wings sell the tickets. Every week i hear others talk about how they made the trip from Indiana to watch the non-wings. The winged car counts would be too low for them to run, and most area winged fans spend their money on Friday nights at Limaland. At least in the current schedule, WRP is pulling sprint, mod, and mini sprint fans from Indiana.

hiwayman: You wanna know why usac has trouble getting the cars??? Because they drive them away like idiots!!! They make you pay membership fees and all that even if you only want to race once with them. They make it too expensive to run with them and don't pay near enough. usac completely ruined the non-wing show at Oskaloosa Oh ya and if you think non-wing racing is boring take a trip to Kokomo sometime. Best racing you will ever see(go to youtube sometime and watch kokomo klash highl ights)! and if you think it's boring where the h*ll were you when the Hewitt Classic happened?
