What a nice night at the track this past Sat. night!! Jessica Nuss....WOW!!! I hope they recorded her singing the National Anthem. Somebody sign her up for the Super Bowl next year ;) Nice to see the stands getting fuller and fuller each week!! Decent/good car counts, and great side by side racing. A question. Are the scorers new this year/is there an issue in the tower? It seems like it's taking longer than in the past to get the line ups straight for restarts....sometimes several laps under yellow before the line up is set. And a comment. For the first time in a LONG time, a fair amount of dust was rolling into the stands, I know we can't control the wind direction, and the weather has been screwy....I just hope this doesn't become the norm at WRP.

Need for Speed, WRP is a "dirt" track, the track really wasn't dusty. You have 6 classes that ran and an extra feature. Most of the drivers had no complaint about track conditions. And it was fast. The A in the sprints were un-godly quick. Hope Ryan Sutter is not to sore after the flip he took between 1 and 2.

I imagine you were there helping Tim, so I have to ask, where were you sitting in the stands Doc?

Thanks for telling me there were 6 classes and a make up feature that ran, I had no idea ;)

Yes sir, Ms. Nuss sounded WAY better than the recorded version of the Anthem 'sang' by Taylor Swift, that Gerry played earlier in the season. IMO, Taylor Swift has a very limited vocal range, and sounds flat most times. But she appeals to the teenie boppers.

NFS-Back Up Manager.....

That was last year....and I learned my lesson about just listening to the first few bars and thinking it's ok. :P

Could be worse....I could have sung! LOL

I was in the first few rows pitside, I can't climb very well yet.( Knee surgery), but I have seen it a whole bunch worse. I got more dirt clods than anything, and if you know who I am you know I am a pretty good sized target. LOL

How much dust one percieves, depends on where they are when the dust is flying.

The stands closest to turn 1 was getting a fair amount of dust at times. Mostly during the Mods, and Mini-Sprints. I'm not complaining, just making a statement of fact. And like I said, the direction the breeze was blowing didn't help.

I have info from a good authority, that the track was prepped slightly different in anticipation of the All Star show.....thus a possible cause for the 'slighly more than usual' amount of dust.

WRP is still WAY more on top of the dust issue than several other tracks are! B)
