Bowersock clinches 2011 Eldora Track Title
WAPAKONETA, OH- Last Sunday night at the Eldora Speedway, Austin Motorsports, owned by Al & Eric Austin, along with driver, Jerry Bowersock, clinched the 2011 Eldora Speedway Modified Track Championship.
Coming into the night, Bowersock trailed point leader, Jesse Bitterling, by 8 points. Mechanical gremlins bit Bitterling, and his hopes of the track championship went up in smoke. Bowersock finished 5th to seal the championship by a slim 7 point margin.
