Any idea of time frame on a rules meeting. I know you guys said you would have the schedule out around 4 weeks or so. Im just being a pain in your butt because im bored and would love some to hear everyones input and hear the correct rules not rumors wild guesses.

No not yet. If there are no drastic changes I don't see a need for rules meetings. But no, no timeframe yet.

I just thought it would be a good idea for all the drivers and the staff to be on the same page there has been no real rules enforcement no real inspections in a couple years so if you or someone else is going to enforce the rules. It would be nice to go over what you are looking for or if it was the same as before if your close to the rule your good to go. I know you said you were making some changes to the rules or a least the wording of it. Hey ! I think its great you are only going to tweek the rules.

I know where Sammie is coming from. Now is when people are starting to rebuild engines I all ready took one to the machine shop this week. It's nice to know that what you want to do to upgrade an engine will be legal in the spring instead of finding out in a couple of months from now that what you had done is illegal. So it's always nice to know of any rule changes now instead of later and waste a lot of money.

I have nothing in this but the season hasnt even been over that long. Why not just do some work on the truck itself not the motor. It doesnt take that long to put a motor together. Give it a few months save up some money or get your income tax return. Even if you waited until feb , give the people at the track some time as to what they want to do. To many like to go to the junk yard get a motor and stick it in. Even a good rebuilt stock motor should put you up front. It is till a stock class, some just have been doing their home work. Why the big rush on every thing, the season proably wont start until what april. So as of right now you have at least 5 months to get a motor together. Even if you waited until jan you still have plenty of time to go at it a little at a time getting your motor where you want it.

My statement is NOT a true statement, nor is it the view of WRP. BUT.... The track is going to need all racers who plan to race at WRP to make a written commitment and send all pit pass money in for the year so they can establish the purse structure and make sure the track is profitable. I know that is a completely unfair request! But it is very similar to what you folks are asking. For those that attended the banquet (which was only last week), Mr Shobe gave an indication of what to expect next year and Mr. Kelly has repeatedly said they will release the rules and schedule as soon as they can. Why does it seem like everyone wants to know how much money they "have" to spend to be competitive? Shouldn't your goal to spend as little as possible? I know everyone wants to have a plan of attack for next year and start the budget. But be patient. Give the people who's responsibility to keep the class fair and make the racing entertaining time to make the decisions they need. I'm sure ill get plenty of criticism for my opening comment. Again, its not in any way to reflect the views of Waynesfield. And me being a member of the officiating staff, maybe I shouldn't make comments like that. But I'm just trying to put things in perspective. Jeremy

1. Double Checker I see what you mean But i was only pulling on Dan's chain OH! i mean Mr. Kelly Yes we could make a written commitment but the money side is where i'm coming from we spread our cost of new parts the whole off season to be ready for the next year overyone knows when your on a tight budget you spend a little at a time you can say your going to save the money but that never happens something always happens and you spend it for something else. Now race season is here you have done nothing to up grade now you run the same thing and finish in the same spot. 2. WOW! skip thanks for starting my morning off with a great laugh i almost peed my panties that was great a stock junk yard motor be competitive . A good rebuilt should put you up front. You might not know IM not laughing at you it was the statement alot of people might think the same but it far from reality . 3. I want EVERONE to have a great day looks like its going to be a good one. Oh yea i got to go to work Kenny thats three days in row got to work sun and mon to mabey you could help me kenny we could be real close buddys ok.

You missed my point some have said on here that they have a motor with over 100 thousand miles on it. That will not let you run up front, but yes you are at least getting to race. But if you take that motor and rebuild it (stock) you will at least have a better chance. Its nice to hear some one peed about me. The point is its a low budget stock class. There is plenty of time to give WRP a chance to see what they want to do. AS dan said so far every thing is the same. The ones who have been winning have been racing for a few yrs as one of them said it took 4 yrs to win a feature, And he said its doing your home work. To me a bigger cam and injectors is not stock. Its just funny that in the compac class you had about the same guy winning for yrs and you didnt hear all the complaining on here about it as in the past as some need to have their trucks tore down. But it looks like some stepped up their program and have been doing some winning in the compacs.

This topic wasn't started as, nor has there been any additions of people complaining about those running up front. That topic has been beat to death. It was started because at the end of the racing season, there was TALK of possibly changing the rules. So every truck member would like to know 1: what is legal and 2: what inspected. Both very valid concerns. I understand the want to/need to know. My initial reply wasn't directed twords anyone (Sammie). Just saying that the rules will be available, when they're available. I can pretty much guarantee that continuing to ask will not speed up the process. I'm also pretty confident that those making the decision do have the truck class members best interest in mind and will have your information to you as soon as they can. I highly doubt they wake up and say, "lets see how long we can put this off." With that said, you can do a few things I suppose...... repair/replace anything stock. You know that's legal. Budget for the biggest, baddest parts you want, but don't buy. There is about 6 months until the new season. I know the rebuilding takes time. Maybe we can readdress the issue if things aren't set with 2 months. Jeremy PS. Sammie, you're right......it is a beautiful day........but I'm also stuck working

If were bored and want to talk some racing how about some bashing of Kyle Busch . One H*** of a racer but the attitude well some one needs to clip his wings. I know him sitting out sure brought me up in a nascar game. Like i have said before bring back Jimmy Spencer he brought Kurt down to earth a little.

Sorry for the double post and mistake. No the post wasnt started for complaining about people up front but its the only class that has had it happen. Its a great low budget class that could get out of hand of people who could try to do it.( if there is any who are) There are some out there in this class that are out there for the fun of getting a chance to go after a dream. Its a great class and a bunch of racers who bend over to help each other. Sorry i should of kept my mouth shut i have nothing in this as i first said.

Ship don't shut up i like to hear from other people. I'm new to playing on this site. I think it' neet that i can just log on say what ever and see what kind of responce i get. I'm not complaining at all i'm just trying to get some feed back. I think it's great we have the hicks ,twinnings, butlers, and i could go on ther is alot of fast trucks that gives us something to shoot for if was easy everyone would win races thats why it feels soo good after all the work. As far as the track workers i would not want that job for any money no matter what you say someone is going to be mad.

I agree sammie, the fastest guys are very helpful with anything I've needed help with. I'm very new so I've had a huge learning curve but having competitors that are helpful is very nice. I'm already getting my truck ready for next season as well, but I'm just fixing the body and re-wiring the squirrel nest the previous owner had made. That should keep me busy for a while! lol

most classes the fast guyes hide what there running. Everybody claims if your up front your cheating thats because you have a target on your back your upfront thats were everyone else wants to be. the truck guyes try to help thats great but the truth is a whole lot of homework with a good amount of money and a good drive you should win races thats easy right!

ya i know what you mean, it was a pleasent surprise to know we had people like that in our garage area. i'm not going to hate on them if i get my butt kicked because i know it takes experience, money and talent to do good in any form of racing and it's up to me to do good. i just can't wait to get back in my truck. only had 2 chances to race it last year and really excited about getting back at it!

Don't have a darn thing to do with the trucks but work on the suspension! It's more than obvious that one of the healthy trucks has out horse powered his suspension. <_<
