THANK YOU Limaland for listening to the racers, and putting us on race tires. Question for those who were at the banquet though...is it an open 8" rule, or is it UMP mod spec tires only? PS, anyone needing some to get started I will likely have some I will be getting rid of cheap or free..... Tim

so have the street stocks rules changed to running the dirt tires for the 2012 season (assuming they are the modified tires) - if so whats the word on them at eldora speedway - switching or not

Limaland has opened the option up for stock cars to run hoosiers or the street tires they have been running. The hoosiers that are allowed are the same ones that the modified class runs. Very good question though. As far as Eldora goes when I was at the UMP nationals there I did here they are switching to hoosiers also. I do beleive that is why Limaland went to them. It will make the racing more racey. Have a great winter race teams.

Looking at Eldora's results doesn't look like many from Lima or Watnesfield race there

Barney and Gossard are about the only regulars that run both Limaland and Eldora, and I think Barney sat out a few Lima shows this year.
