im saying forever cause Ive seen ALOT of races for only being 24. I grew up going to limaland and living in elida 18 years of my life. theirs nothing like the smell and sound of racing right down the road... Travis the rabbit Miller i loved as a little kid and racing from that just grew... i just think they could expand just a little not much just a little... trust me iv met an talk to alot of fans that come during speedweek and the doty and they think the track is something special... I'm very passionate to those that come out each and every friday and race.. thats blue collar and the love of the sport... i love hearing stories of old limalnd even when it was called Allentown. This track just has it and it could have a little more to offer if they just would... come on now just imagine a two day show or USACS back again or even ANOTHER Allstar Show with other classes.. And YES im proud to say Limaland is my favorite track...lol JMO

You just sorta proved my point where you said "I've been going to limaland forever". I don't dispute that just about every fan wished that their favorite track ran their favorite class every week for 20,000 to win. But racechaser mentioned that the few races they do have for the 410's (the class you'd like to see more), keeps you wanting more. Keeps you talking about how great the last one was. Makes you anxious to see the next one. But maybe (just my opinion) running them more often will take the greatness out of the races that are run. Until we run our own racetracks there is little we can do to change it. I have no doubt that you don't stand alone wanting more 410 shows, but I just don't see why any track would change what is working.

Cten to many people like you and some who comment on here not putting you down, but you have grown up with out knowing what it was like. Ive been going there since 1962 you had one class of car every week and it was a hell hole. People keep wanting more and more and what happens it gets passed down to the fan and drivers paying the way in. Some just need to be thankfull for what some of us have in are own back yards. Eldora has even dropped the number of usac shows they have been having, their usac shows are way down to what they use to be. Why step on others toes if you want 410 Fremont and Attica. You want non wing WRP, 360,s Lima. Things are tuff right now stick with what is going for you and enjoy the racing. Lima is also my favorite track even when it was a hell hole.

Skip i dont think anyone is saying they dont appreciate what we have in our own back yards, i just think the fans are wanting more big shows and if there is a track in this area that can afford to do that its Limaland. That school could easily put up the money to have the local non wings race a double header weekend friday lima and saturday wrp. The thing about down here compared to up north is that up north all the tracks work together to give their fans what they want. You said it in your post down here we have Eldora as a special show track, WRP as the non wing sprints, and Limaland as the 360s, theres no unison in that. And im not saying that the tracks should cut any divisions but wouldnt it help both tracks if one weekend the local non wing guys got the opportunity to have a double header weekend close to home with lima and wrp? and then the 360s would get to have a double header weekend at lima and wrp also? wouldnt that just help the tracks? I dont see how this could hurt the tracks at all. And thats all were saying just bring in the 410s more than 2 times a season and i think some people on this forum would be surprised at the turn out LMP would get

First of all we are just talking about switching it up a bit, which is all it will probably ever amount to? Yes Lima has the 360's, Fremont/Attica 410 Winged nation, and Gas City and WRP Non Wing nation, and Eldora, a little of everything. That we all know and appreciate and ARE lucky to have within a 100 miles of ourselves! However fans like variety, or to see some other tracks regular menu come to their track. Some tracks do this and some don't, and some fan bases could care less and are content with their regular menu week in and week out. However Lima fans are asking and NOT being heard? I am not taking anything away from Lima as the weekly regulars put on a heck of a show each week, but with the exception of the "Doty" and SpeedWeek the rest of the season there IS Regular shows, with a few higher payouts from time to time for their usual classes, which is great. I think though that this is why the fans there are asking for a mix with more 410 Winged and Non Winged shows, or at least a few of each? I don't think that they are asking for a lot more, just a few? I don't see why Lima couldn't just run a few 4 class nights, that way the regulars don't lose out and the fans get their 410's, with or without wings? I believe with 3 classes we are done around 10:30 at the latest, could always start at 7:00 on a 4 class night, and as far as track conditions, they do have one of the best in the business? Lima's shows are ran promptly and professionally, and would probably still be out by 11:00 even with 4 classes? There are some dates that could have allowed this variety for the asking fans: April 13th - Lima could have opened a week earlier and took the "Spring Fling" back to what it used to be with the All Star Sprints and all 3 regular classes to open the season with a Bang? Attica and Eldora are running Lates that weekend, and there is no All Star race scheduled? May 4th - Could have had Non Wing Sprints, Gas City is closed, and that would have been a great show with the Lates and Non Wingers??? June 15th - Gas City is closed, another opportunity for the a Non Wing show? With the right payout, they would come! Aug. 24th - Gas City Closed, Attica running Saturday due to Fremont being down because of the Fair, Eldora Closed, and No All Star show scheduled that night, and running at Mercer the next night Sat. Aug. 25th. Could have All Stars or Non wings instead of the lame "fan Night", which to me is discriminating toward Sprint Fans, and yes I feel the same about Eldora's Fan Nights! The only track that provides a True Fan Appreciation night is Attica - look it up. My point here is that Lima could have provided for what their Fans have been asking for for years now with little change to "What Seems To Be Working!" JMHO

Yep, same rules.

So when the Tuff Trucks run at Limaland do we use the same rules as we use at WRP?
