Well after a long winter I'm ready for some great racing action at WRP to fire up starting tomorrow night. We have everything looking good and ready to go. Many new things you'll see at WRP this season. We have a larger staff not only in the pit area but assisting with Gerry and public relations. You will see some new advertising starting to bud at the track. We have tried to make the walk for the fans going from the stands to the restrooms/concession area a smoother walk. We will also be starting a kids club this season which will allow several interactions with kids and drivers along with a bunch of goodies for the kids to take home. More details to come regarding the kids club activities as its still in the budding stage. Lastly but not least, I have a pretty good feeling that our pit area is going to be pretty full. We have sold over 70 reserved pit parking spots for the upcoming season. Reserved parking allows you to have peace of mind that your spot will be there when you get to the track no matter what time you arrive. No matter how you slice it......there is an exciting year ahead of us and I'm sure as a fan to hear Gerry Keysor send the A-Main into turn number one the first night will be a heart pounding experience. Speaking of the word "Experience"....that is our motto or goal if you will for the 2012 season. We know we have the best door to door racing in the area but now we want to make it an "Experience" for the fans. We want them to talk about WRP to their friends around the water cooler on Monday morning at the shop. We want the fan to leave with a memory that will last. As a driver, you can obtain a fan for life by giving one kid an experience to remember and we will give the drivers every opportunity to do that this season.
