I hardly ever post on here; because I do not like all of the drama nor do care about it. But you guys are idiots the Baineys try to bring something to this area, one something most people never get a chance to watch and secondly that is the biggest race to come to this area since Ferd wallace had the same series back when. You guys are the reason tracks are shutting down never have anything good to post, always running down and never show support. If you dont like, you dont like it. Why post on it then? Just to make yourself feel good? You should buy the place if you can do better! At least there is a track around the area still to go to!

I don't know I remember Scott Bloomquist & Shane Clanton among others racing in the Yankee Doodle on dirt. Those seemed like pretty big races to me. The only guys in that field I heard of were Jimmy Weller & Nathan Russell (because they both ran dirt). Don't care so much to watch a bunch of the old cup guys kids race.

SIR, THE BAINEYS ARE BUSINESS PEOPLE THEY ARE THERE TO MAKE MONEY THEY DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU LIKE OR DISLIKE THEY ARE THERE TO MAKE MONEY, AND IF YOU WANT TO WATCH ASPHALT RACING GO TO THE POCONOS. THERE IS A REASON THAT TRACK SHUT DOWN THE FIRST TIME IT WAS PAVED------------ THIS IS DIRT TRACK COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!

Then don't go.... I really doubt the baineys have gotten rich on the speedway investment. People come on here and b**ch all the time about this track, that track. i don't believe owning a track is the panacea that some of you think it is. tracks are closing all over and it ain't cause they are making too much money. If you don't like pavement racing, don't go. You don't have to bash them. I for one like racing on both type of surfaces. They are very different but equally entertaining to myself and others. I am glad that they are trying to bring a big league venue to our part of the world. I don't recall ever running into Bill Elliot at Humnmingbird or Thunder Mountain. Give it a break, if you don't like it, don't attend, you don't have to bash the track or the effort.

^^^^^I Agree. Asphalt racing sucks its so boring. This area is dirt racing not asphalt. And as a matter of fact the other yr at Bedford at the outlaw show there were a few legendary NASCAR drivers in the pits so I dont wana hear they dont go to dirt tracks. Hell Tony stewart owns one

you know when they peeled the dirt off at first i was pissed off too, but you know something i don't own the track and don't the pavement fans deserve a track to go to ?dirt track racing is not for everyone just like some people don't like the pavement races . more power to them if they want to pay 30 dollars to watch one class and pay 6 dollars for a hamburger and 4 dollars for a hot dog then have at it .they deserve a track to go to and with those prices you should be able to make money . we need america's raceway park open in clearfield so the locals can afford to race. just my opinion.

I thought it was a decent race, and there was a great crowd. For all those that said an asphalt race wouldn't draw fans, I think last night proved them wrong. Not quite the crowd that the Yankee Doodle on dirt had a few times, but comparatible if not larger than the Grizzly races. I've paid close to the same amount to see some big dirt late model and sprint races, and didn't see any better race than I did last night. The reason it closed when it was paved before, in my opinion was because they were trying to run a weekly schedule, with a very limited amount of local team and fan support. a couple of these sanctioned specials a year, and I think they will do just fine. I know I will keep going.

because this was nascar, people were interested...nothing more, nothing less...they didn't draw for the first show and won't draw for the septemeber show...

Samuel Metals was very happy with the show that they helped sponsor. They were already talking last night of maybe putting the money up for two more next season.
