So, please tell me, why is there all the bitching about dirt racing and only very seldom a comment about something that is good about dirt racing? Just sort through five or ten pages on Racestud and look for where someone says anything good about dirt racing!
I could only imagine what it would be like if you weren't so happy at the dirt track!
Some of you need to go back to bed and get up on the other side!

you won't find one track anywhere. that noone has anything to complain about. if you read through these posts you'll also find alot of positive things. every track has something to improve. but around PA you will find alot more people whining and complaining about the dirt tracks and why is that? maybe because thats what PA has. the mass majority of tracks are what? dirt. the mass majority of people in PA are what? either Dirt Drivers, or Dirt fans. And when did you go to a Yankee Doodle race, or really any other race on the dirt at central pa speedway that the stands, and hill weren't jam packed? I'm not saying that the pavement is going to fail. i'm saying its disappointing to me and almost everyone i know that there won't be anymore "Big" dirt track races this close to home. in my opinion, i don't think paved track races are near as exciting as the dirt. and i'm allowed to have that opinion as is everyone else that has the same.Yeah, OK!!! LOL! Once again, that's EXACTLY what I was talking about!

hahahahahahahahaThats because everyone thinks the track should be perfect and always tacky. Thats dirt racing of course the tracks going to change. And the guys that bitch about dust need to stay at home cause its obviously going to get dusty. Ya ask me the dust makes it all the better sometimes. You asphalt guys wana talk about asphalt racing go make Ur own Damn website. One thats perfect and everyone gets along and agrees with each other and is for asphalt topics ONLY............. maybe like ass-fault.com or something like that.

I like both types of racing. We have also done both. Personally, I believe the set up is much more critical than dirt. BUT, why bash it.... just don't go.
I hope they succeed.
I also hope the dirt tracks in the area succeed. It certainly gives the fans a lot more options.

like i said, and not trying to be rude or anything. just alot of people are disappointed that they took the dirt off of the track. i don't mean to sound like i want the track to fail i really do hope they succeed. but they're gonna have a tough time around here until everyone gets used to it again. i agree that set-up is a bigger factor. and kudos to the guys that get it right. if they had like featherlite mods, maybe even legend cars or something like that i know i'd go check it out. and i'm a way bigger dirt fan. i don't even really want to put it that way, i'm a fan of a good race.I don't get you guys. If you don't like it DON'T GO!! Didn't notice that this was the Oh/PA Message Board for dirt.

Not planning on going nor ever going to one esp here. It was much better with dirt on it. Not saying I hope they dont succeed with it just saying most likely will never make anything outa it with ass-fault....... too many dirt tracks around and dirt drivers. Like other posts say this is dirt country. I personally will never attend an asphalt race no matter what. Too much like NASCAR. Attended a few asphalt races at Jennerstown back when they did decent and I hated it. The mirrors, radios, and spotters is retarded and makes it Not racing. On dirt you have none of this, you dont know who's behind you or how close they are,you dont know the quickest line around the track although sometimes makes no difference if setup is off. Although some cheat and use radios. Not sure if rules allow any of this here or not but still wouldn't like it if they couldn't use this stuff. Dirt is so much more exciting and popular around here.I don't get you guys. If you don't like it DON'T GO!! Didn't notice that this was the Oh/PA Message Board for dirt.

Spotters, mirrors & radios are not retarded...they are DIFFERENT...
My point is if you don't like asphalt racing, then don't go...they are trying to do something here, to bring much needed revenue into the area....
Yes all that stuff is retarded.......... it makes it not racing. You dont see dirt cars with mirrors on them, some use radios which is sapost to be illegal in dirt racing. And spotters might as well be driving the Damn car with a remote control............ and you dont have to prove any point to me cause I already said id never go to one... not gana go watch and support a boing race or any asphalt race..... they wana bring revenue to the area then put some dirt on it an make it a dirt track. Tell the asphalt guys they can go down south and race where asphalt is KING............ So go make Ur ass-fault.com site where all you asphalt buddies can talk and everyone be perfect and not complain about everything and be perfect and have the perfect track conditions week after week and no one complains like you say us dirt guys do.........

you know it only sat empty for a year right? and the only reason it sat that long was because the Baineys didn't want to run any races on the dirt that year. it wasn't for "lack of interest" by any drivers or fans. if they would have raced, people would have showed up just like they did for the last 4 or 5 years with the dirt. but instead they pulled the dirt off of it. pretty much said "to hell with all the dirt track fans and drivers that loved this track" as for the Bashing?...how about Speaking your opinion. and all the drilling rigs around here aren't bringing any revenue? come on now.Spotters, mirrors & radios are not retarded...they are DIFFERENT...
My point is if you don't like asphalt racing, then don't go...what ticks me off is the way it gets so badly bashed every time the Bainey's have a race...don't bash...they are trying to do something here, to bring much needed revenue into the area....I wonder how many motel rooms were booked last weekend? Support them by not getting on here and bashing what they are trying to do...
I worked for many years for a person that drove IMSA, now I don't like road racing, however, I always showed interest in what the team did, and never bashed him as a lot of the other employees did...Not is it only wrong, it's rude and shows no character...
The Bainey's are trying to revive a speedway that sat idle for how long? and still would be idle if they hadn't taken it over...
Support them by at least not bashing...

this, yes, just all of this...+1000000...yes the track was a little rough and had some good ruts but there was no way in hell they couldn't have had it fixed if they tried even a little bit...it was clearly neglect because the track was green with grass growing on it and no effort was made and you could easily see that...once again you are telling me they can strip down all the old dirt and get it paved in just about a month but couldn't fix a few ruts?? get the heck outta here if you believe that...you know it only sat empty for a year right? and the only reason it sat that long was because the Baineys didn't want to run any races on the dirt that year. it wasn't for "lack of interest" by any drivers or fans. if they would have raced, people would have showed up just like they did for the last 4 or 5 years with the dirt. but instead they pulled the dirt off of it. pretty much said "to hell with all the dirt track fans and drivers that loved this track" as for the Bashing?...how about Speaking your opinion. and all the drilling rigs around here aren't bringing any revenue? come on now.

OK, there seems to be several of you who feel they are qualified to tell someone else how they should spend their money.this, yes, just all of this...+1000000...yes the track was a little rough and had some good ruts but there was no way in hell they couldn't have had it fixed if they tried even a little bit...it was clearly neglect because the track was green with grass growing on it and no effort was made and you could easily see that...once again you are telling me they can strip down all the old dirt and get it paved in just about a month but couldn't fix a few ruts?? get the heck outta here if you believe that...
What's up with that? If you were so intent that this track should be dirt, then perhaps you should have been more intense with efforts to assemble an investor group. Then you could be doing what you want to do with your investment instead of trying to tell someone else what to do with theirs.
Get off of your butts, get a second job, stay out of the bars, stop smoking, get a third job, work hard and save your money then buy your own damn track!
How about detailing your home budget here on Racestud and then everyone can pitch in and tell you where/how to spend your hard earned money!!
Freakin' entitlement generation! Go out and work for your own stuff!

We should not be bashing on asphalt racing we should be promoting it as a matter of fact I am selling tickets to the interstate 80 500 For the cheap price of $30 per ticket. For that low price you can sit and watch cars and trucks go up interstate 80 all day long and guess what, every once and awhile one goes really fast. THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT ANY MORE EXCITING. For all you business men out there for an extra $20 You can go golfing in a green press-teen cowpatty field behind my neighbors house and, just after that you can go for tea and crumpets. As for bowman gray they have to spin the guy in front of them out to pass that's not demo derby is it. once again I apologize

where did i say anything about spending their money??? i was referring to more of how they sold all the dirt fans and drivers out and clearly put no effort into because they wanted their precious gay ole asphalt so do not sit there and act like you know what im saying because you don't...OK, there seems to be several of you who feel they are qualified to tell someone else how they should spend their money.

suhoney, I wasn't referring specifically to you but you just reiterated the notion that you should have input on how someone else should spend their money.where did i say anything about spending their money??? i was referring to more of how they sold all the dirt fans and drivers out and clearly put no effort into because they wanted their precious gay ole asphalt so do not sit there and act like you know what im saying because you don't...
If you save enough money and decide to buy a new car, what would you get. A Ford, a Chevy, a Dodge or something else. Since you, and ONLY you, worked for that money would you buy the car you wanted to buy?
Yeah, I understand EXACTLY what you are saying!
