YOU THINK thats why hes quitting....... that has nothing to do with why hes quitting from what I hear. I herd today most of his stuff is already sold. And if he wrecked guys every single night he woulda been thrown out. I think Ur just jealous of him for some reason or another
Let the man R.I.P. Wether you like him or hate him....He's DONE! A year from now....no-one will even remember who he was!

Not what happened that night. Cars were no where near bunched up and steve just forgot where the brake pedel was. Grandstand drivers? Sorry you have me and alky on the wrong side of the track. Many nights I have been as close as you can get to speeding racecars without being in them, taking photos as a hobby and for a number of friends that drive.

Everhart wasn't the only guy ready to do that. Several other drivers were ready to do that to Gordon too. A few I talked to said the next time Gordon spun them they were gana do the same thing. Everhart also isn't the only driver thats ever done this.
You're right Everhardt isn't the only one who's ever done I think Cole trickle did it in days of thunder. Why don't you enlighten us as to what other drivers were planning on slamming in to Gordon under caution my guess is you won't mention anyone because you love to fabricate information. Other people have committed murder too but that doesn't mean it's okay to do it. You're a piece of work buddy

Ahhhh an in race "photographer" wtf would you know about actually driving a late model 110 mph into a 180 degree corner with 24 other drivers trying to beat you in for the same piece of clay. Until you actually sit in the seat pull the belts down tight put the helmet on and hit the track you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. Everhart raced with us at gamblers raceway park when it was open, and he was never called a dirty driver by anybody that raced with him. Iv seen him race door to door with the best of local late model drivers for 10 or so laps straight and never touch them. Iv also seen his temper and if Steve did do what you say he did im sure the a$$hole had it coming. So until you actually spend $12000 for a chassis, $30000 for a motor, and the remainder of your life savings on tires and other parts for the car, stick to selling out of focus pictures to 6 year old kids in the stands for $2.00 a piece, and leave the racing to the people who have done it their entire lives and know what the hell they are doin.... just sayin!! Steve and his family will be missed at the local tracks and hope to see him walking through the pits and talk to him about asses like you who only wish they had a quarter of the talent he does. There you have shown your true colors. To ever say someone deserved to get hit under caution shows how much you do not know about racing in this area the last few years. This attitude has caused completely innocent people to get hurt and the wrong type of attention to be drawn to dirt racing in this area. Just came back till showed your true colors. With that last post pretty clear your judgement is as clouded at Everhart's.

So unless someone has driven a car their opinion means nothing? I not only have taken photos but have helped work on and around these cars for a number of years. I also for the most part do not sell my work except if someone specifically asks for something special like a big print. I do it because I enjoy it and have given my photos away to many of those I know at the tracks. I prefer to do it as a hobby and not get tied down to any specific track and also that way I can express my own feelings since not tied to any track as a representive of them.
I guess with your opinion no one but drivers should even be allowed on message boards or have views on racing. Steve is and always has been an ass and won't be missed by MANY people. I have never claimed to have driven anything but only a select few on here can claim they have. If only ones that are allowed to comment about things then why not lock the message boards down to being drivers only.

Hell no your entitled to your own opinion just saying that unless you have driven one of these monsters on the track with 24 other guys competing for the same piece of ground into a 180 degree corneryou have no freeking clue what you are really talking about. These guys all put their time and money into a car all week to race on the weekend and you think they smash them up on purpose? Please... nobody goes onto any track with the intention of wrecking their race car, but some testosterone and adrenaline get the better of them and shit hits the fan. I have never seen Steve intentionally hit anybody, but I do know his reputation, and without even seeing the race i know the guy had it coming. The move over flag is displayed when the slow as hell lappers get in the road and they need to relinquish the racing groove to the lead lap cars, HOW HARD IS THIS TO UNDERSTAND. Pick up the pace or get out of the race.So unless someone has driven a car their opinion means nothing? I not only have taken photos but have helped work on and around these cars for a number of years. I also for the most part do not sell my work except if someone specifically asks for something special like a big print. LMAO great post!!
As for never racing so not knowing what its like. Yes, I have never had the experience of running a car myself and if ever had the chance would love to, but I have worked them enough to understand what goes into it. I know all about the emotion involved on a weekly basis not only with the drivers of these cars but the people that work to keep them on the track. There are many guys out there that can drive a whole summer and never once get into another car in a way that even appears to be on purpose. For some reason almost every race I have seen Steve in has involved some type of major contact between him and the cars he passes not just the lapped ones either. Guess according to some I just must be blind and imagine things. Oh well I know what I have seen over the years and hopefully will see alot better racing in the years to come now.
